This event occurred with me personally a few days ago. My father had bought some new rims from Toyota online for his Tacoma. He got them installed from an outside party. The outside party was having a diffic father had bought some new rims from Toyota online for his Tacoma. He got them installed from an outside party. The outside party was having a difficult time placing the hubcaps on the rims, so I gave Toyota a call and they told me to come right in. When I got to Toyota I waited for about 30mins. Soon after, one of the service representatives attempted to place the hub-caps on and was unsuccessful while repeatedly questioning where we had purchased the rims from.... I waited for about 15 more mins as I had thought he went to get someone else to help him. I was then informed by a woman named ,"Katherine" that a gentleman named Ricardo would be assisting me. I was then asked to move my vehicle out of the service department and to wait outside by another gentleman. While I waited, I ended up getting 3 out of 4 hubcaps in myself. Eventually, I was informed that I had not bought the rims from there so I could not get any help for it, even though the rims and the vehicle were from Toyota .The last hubcap was eventually attempted by another service rep after the manager was informed of this event by: Isauro Flores (thank you for informing the manager). Isauro Flores was very helpful during this and made sure I was taken care of.. A few moments later, while I was driving on the road, the 4th hubcap came out. Luckily, I was able to place the last hubcap in as well. We have dealt with other incidents with Lodi Toyota as well .Including the salesman offering us a flat rate at the time of purchase of the vehicle, but in reality charging us rouglyl $600 more. We tried communicating this with the salesman a couple times afterwards and the salesman responded by saying," yes, yes $30,000 flat out the door, come by tomorrow I'll take care of it..." We came the next morning and the salesman wasn't there....seemed like a clear setup. We then spoke to a manager of Lodi Toyota who stated, " we don't give flat rates..." On another occasion, we struggled to receive a running board from Lodi Toyota for our vehicle; something they had promised us at the time of purchase of the vehicle. A few days ago, I spoke to Jerry (manager) regarding the above experiences at Lodi Toyota and he promised to take care of us and “connect us with the right people.” Hoping for the best in the future with Lodi Toyota. In this stay at home time, I really, really appreciate the effort made by the staff to accommodate my request to pick up my car from my home.
