Experienced a "check engine" light scenario this weekend (2/4/2023). On Monday (2/6/2023), went to my local auto parts store's to get an OBD scan performed to see how severe it was, come to find out it was (2/4/2023). On Monday (2/6/2023), went to my local auto parts store's to get an OBD scan performed to see how severe it was, come to find out it was a Cam Shaft Sensor system problem (P0340/0343). Immediately went to the local Ford website to see service hours. For documentation purposes, I went ahead and submitted a Service Schedule, per their website, and noticed that all Service Schedules need to be done at least 48 hours prior to the Service needing to be done. So I submitted for Tuesday (2/7/2023) @ 7am anyways, considering the severity of the code. Showed up at the location to get service done and was informed that I should have Scheduled my Service work, Strike #1; next time I will coordinate with my Engine 48 hours prior to its Check Engine Light scenario to meet this STUPID requirement; its like going to the ER with a broken arm and they ask you if you scheduled your visit today. Needless to say that did not impress me on the person who checked me in. Then they proceeded to tell me that "IF" this was a powertrain warranty that I would need to PAY $100 deductible for a Warranty Repair; this is Strike #2; the Camshaft Sensor system is NOT a Wear and Tear item at less than 41k miles. Strike #3 is when they told me that they would not "Look" at it till Tuesday afternoon, most likely Wednesday, to just Diagnose the problem and not fix it. I will not patronize this dealership ever again. The new owners (since roughly 2019) have done nothing but bring this location to down to unreliable and incompetence. More

I would like to start by saying Mr Lawson has been the absolute best salesman I have ever worked with. I have worked with over 20 salesman in the past 5 years and never has anyone ever helped me like Mr absolute best salesman I have ever worked with. Fortunately (or Unfortunately) depending on how you look at it which i look at it as fortunately God blessed me and my wife with our 3rd child which is due in February next year and looking at our finances I would not be able to afford the truck I had ordered with Blake. Now every salesman I have worked with in the past would have tried to get me in the most expensive truck they could get me in but not Mr Lawson. Since February this year I had been in contact with him alot about the truck I ordered and was excited about it getting near its build date but when the news hit me we are expecting our 3rd child and we wouldn't be able to afford the new truck I was devastated and happy at the same time. I came into Long Lewis last week in a bad situation. I had purchased a 2022 ford Ranger from Earnest McCarty Ford a few months back because my previous vehicle finally gave up. I told Blake my situation and asked if there was anything he could do to help me because I had to have a full size truck for my growing family. Not only did he help me find my truck, the repor he has built with me made me feel the most at ease I have ever been with in buying a vehicle. He was only ever helpful to me with the whole process. He helped me see what my payments would be before I bought so I could make a informed decision on my truck. He always offered me something to drink when I came by. Was always willing to show me anything I wanted to see and explain to me the things I didn't understand. I have been recommending him and Long Lewis to everyone that I know is looking for a new or used vehicle and some that are not.
