I was not immediately greeted but someone did eventually talk to me. I had to haggle for a good hour before they would give me a decent price. My salesperson knew I was not rich and I felt like he really did his best to make my payments as low as possible.Looking back on it, I did not get a great deal but I don't feel like I got ripped off that badly. In the end, the car buying process took away 5 hours of my life but I drove away with my dream car. I love my new IS250!!! It is everything I always dreamed it would be. There were a few things that soured the experience. The finance guy talked me into buying the extended warranty which added a whopping $2000 to the price of the car. *sigh* At least if I get an electrical problem within the next 5 years, it will be covered and I hope Lexus is honest about their warranties. They also ran this routine where they told me my trade-in car was only worth X amount but they knew a friend who may be interested in taking it off my hands for more. I felt they were insulting my intelligence. Just be honest with me! Tell me that my car isn't worth anything to you and we will just leave it at that. In the end, I ended up giving them my old car for well below the kelley bluebook trade-in value. I just wanted to get out of there and stop having to listen to them BS me. More

I've been patronizing Longo Lexus since 2003 after visiting other dealerships and service centers and found that Longo Lexus has the best prices as well as being close to my home. However, the best prices quickly fades if the service and quality of service is poor or even mediocre. I am very particular regarding who I am treated as a customer. Basic courtesy should be a given but unfortunately many businesses fail to understand nor demonstrate this basic tenet. Man Wong in the years he has serviced my car and my needs has consistently displayed this attitude which has engendered my loyalty to him and to Longo Lexus. I trust him with my car and seldom question the costs to repair or provide maintenance. He he was not working on the day I brought my car in I would defer it until he returned. The word, alacrity best describes his attitude: a cheerful readiness, to serve. More

The competition is brutal and there is no reason to settle with just a good deal or average treatment or a car not equipped the way you want it. I called Steve Johiro (Steven.Johiro@LongoLexus.com) in the internet department at Longo. I told him what I was looking for and asked him what he could do for me. Within ten minutes on the phone, the deal was done. The following week I drove 60 miles to Longo Lexus and met with Steve and completed the paperwork for a special order GS 350. Steve stood behind everything he told me over the phone and put it on paper. No bait and switch. No BS. Because Longo is the largest dealer on the West Coast they have the largest inventory and more pull on special orders. From the day I signed the paperwork to the delivery of the car was 10 1/2 weeks (74 days). For me it was well worth it to get the exact car I wanted. Make a phone call to Steve. He will not let you down and the drive is worth it. More
After all the good things that I heard about Longo Lexus, I was surprised by how mediocre the whole experience at the dealership was. It was somewhat of a letdown. It started off well enough. The salesman, Nick, was more than eager to show us the cars and let us do a test-drive when we told him what we were looking for. Longo Lexus truly has one of the largest stock in SoCal. (They had the model in the color we wanted at the lot when most of the other dealers had to offer a dealer exchange to get it.) However, the whole experience went downhill from there. Just like a lot of the other dealers out there, they sat us down to go over pricing. And just like the others, they started off at MSRP. But unlike a lot of the other dealers, they hardly budged from the high sales price when we started negotiating with them. In the end, just about every other dealer we went to offered a better price than Longo even after we told them the other dealers' figures. (They wouldn't even price match saying that those other dealers all add on extras like chrome wheels to jack up the price or that they'll give you any figure just to make you come in.... excuse after excuse while bad-mouthing all the other dealers.) If price is no object to you, then Longo Lexus is definitely an option. They have a great selection and you'll certainly get great customer service while you're there to look at the cars. But for us, we found the car we wanted at Beverly Hills Lexus for thousands less with equally amazing customer service. More

We recently moved from NY in 2009 and needed to get a car for my wife. Ahmad Yamak was the first salesman to approach us and his deamonor delivered excellent rapport. He removed the worry in our car purchase. We leased a 2010 RX 350 in July 2009. My old car's transmission(not a Lexus) went out and we went right to Ahmad. We bought a 2007 Lexus ES 350 CPO in Dec 2009. After sometime we wanted a pleasure car and changed our RX350 to a 2012 IS 250c in Jan 2012. Finally, this year it was time to trade in my 2007 EX 350 and we purchased the 2013 RX350. Ahmad was very helpful during all four of our car purchases/leases and we will continue to recommend all of our friends and family to Ahmad at Longo Lexus. He is top notch! More

This is a letter of appreciation to Ahmed Yamak, a Longo Lexus Certified Master Sales Agent. My wife purchased a Toyota Celica from Longo Toyota in 1978. She enjoyed the buying experience and kept Longo T Lexus Certified Master Sales Agent. My wife purchased a Toyota Celica from Longo Toyota in 1978. She enjoyed the buying experience and kept Longo Toyota in the forefront of her mind regarding any subsequent purchases of Toyota vehicles. Again, in 2000, we drove her sister to Longo Toyota and she purchased a Toyota vehicle. In 2003, my wife was interested in purchasing a crossover vehicle. We drove to Longo Lexus regarding a potential purchase. To our surprise, when we entered the showroom, no one approached us or offered any assistance. There was a salesman and a receptionist in the showroom. Neither one of them offered any assistance. We left the showroom and vowed to never return to Longo Lexus. Based on our previous experience with Longo Toyota, in 2006 we purchased a Toyota Corolla S for our daughter. Once again we had a positive buying experience with Longo Toyota. In July of this year, my wife was interested in purchasing a certified pre-owned Lexus RX 350. We visited Santa Monica Lexus, South Bay Lexus and Beverly Hills Lexus. They all had a good selection of RX 350’s in stock; however, they did not have the exterior and interior combination my wife was interested in purchasing. We knew that lease returns would be coming in each month; therefore, we informed the sales agents about our exterior and interior preferences and requested they call us when they received the appropriate combination. Even though the salesman and receptionist snubbed their nose at us in 2003, my wife utilized the internet and located the perfect RX 350 combination at Longo Lexus. We decided to call Longo Lexus and see if this specific vehicle was still on the lot. We established this particular vehicle was still on the lot and immediately made an appointment on Sunday, August 5, 2012, to view the car. After arriving at Longo Lexus approximately 12 noon, we exited our vehicle, and were immediately approached by Ahmad Yamak. He did not know we had already contacted Longo Lexus regarding a RX 350. Nevertheless, he was extremely personable and more than happy to offer his assistance. He offered us some liquid refreshments and most important he listened to what options my wife wanted on the RX 350. It became apparent to my wife and me that Ahmad was very knowledgeable about his Lexus product line. My wife and I agreed that this was one of the most positive buying experiences compared to Santa Monica, South Bay or Beverly Hills. We were so impressed with Ahmad we informed him if any of our friends or relatives are interested in purchasing a Lexus, we would pass along his name and phone number. Needless to say, he is our focal point for any future purchases of Lexus vehicles. Thanks Ahmed for the positive buying experience and making August 5, 2012 a phenomenal day!
