Made an appointment for May 20th two weeks prior to that date. I had to wait that long because I would need a rental and they said that was the first available date. The appointment was for a recall and an issue that I diagnosed. Upon arriving they told me they were 5 days out for diagnostics and argued that I would need diagnostics despite me asking for the part to be fixed without it. It is now 10 days later, my vehicle hasn't been looked at, i'm $500 into the rental. Never will do business with them again. More
This is the FINAL time I will EVER go to Lou Fusz Ford for service. Today the valet service dropped my vehicle off to the wrong address and then asked for a review of their delivery service. In my last 3 for service. Today the valet service dropped my vehicle off to the wrong address and then asked for a review of their delivery service. In my last 3 experiences they have not brought my car back to me the same day and left me stranded with zero communication on the status. They replaced my brakes and rotors when they had been replaced at a different dealership just 14 months prior and didn’t need replacements. Only when I asked for the “old” ones and p other invoice did they say they were in error to try to charge me more than $1,000 for work I didn’t need. This morning I get a text 25 mins after my set pickup appointment time saying they would be showing up 45 mins late. When I said something to the manager he just asked if I had my phone on me. Now my car is God knows where and they have to come and get my spare key to transport it back to me. I have no words for the incompetence Lou Fusz Ford continues to exhibit. More
Paid $200 for diagnostic fee and Lou fusz ford didn't diagnose issue. Ford has issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) for 2017-2019 Ford Escape vehicles with a 1.5L EcoBoost engine that were built diagnose issue. Ford has issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) for 2017-2019 Ford Escape vehicles with a 1.5L EcoBoost engine that were built before April 8, 2019. The bulletin, dated June 9, 2022, covers coolant intrusion into the cylinder bores and offers a one-time, no-cost repair for the 1.5L short block. We paid Lou Fusz ford $195 for a diagnostic test (on 7/12/2024) for this issue as antifreeze is being lost and white smoke is coming out the exhaust pipe at startup. Additionally, 1 year ago we brought the car to Clement ford to test same issue as antifreeze leaked onto driveway. Outside mechanic (Christian Brothers Automotive) ran diagnostics and claimed the car had the recall issue. Clement Ford said nothing wrong with the car and gave us a tune up. This time, Lou Fusz Ford is claiming that all coolant tests passed and no IDs found relevant to recall issue. Lou Fusz is claiming the antifreeze is leaking through the weep hole in the water pump as cause for antifreeze leaking. However, smoke from exhaust at startup says additional diagnosis required. So Lou Fusz ford did not even complete the diagnosis that we paid for. And we have now paid Ford dealerships $390 for diagnostic fees and the car has not even been diagnosed. Additionally, I have spoken with a previous Ford Mechanic who is saying there has to be an issue with cracked block or head gasket for white smoke to come out exhaust. The white smoke in the exhaust is most certainly related to the coolant loss. Meaning, they are also misdiagnosing the coolant loss. It seems to us that Ford is trying to get out of fixing an engine that is covered under recall. We will no longer be customer with Ford if this is not corrected and Ford does not take action to address the actual issue. Horrible customer service from both the Lou Fusz Service center and Ford corporate. More
I went to get an oil change and it took 30 minutes, but that was probably because there were other people who got there before me. I was comfortable there and I had access to snacks and water. that was probably because there were other people who got there before me. I was comfortable there and I had access to snacks and water. I sensed genuine concern for my dilemma and a major effort was made to fix my car as soon as possible. The mileage on my car just rolled over 16, 000 so it will be a while before I trade in for a new one. But, when I do I will be visiting Lou Fusz. Also, my service, although established at Pundmann will from now on be at Lou Fusz. Rick Dana was especially helpful and reassuring at a stressful time for me. I really do appreciate that kind of customer service. Thank you. More
Brandon is always the best in explaining any services that the truck needs and why it's needed. He also does a great job of keeping me updated throughout the service process. that the truck needs and why it's needed. He also does a great job of keeping me updated throughout the service process. More
