I have brought my Miata in twice in the last several months for installation of some Mazda interior pieces. Both times they damaged the vehicle. First time I had the parking brake boot and shift boot re months for installation of some Mazda interior pieces. Both times they damaged the vehicle. First time I had the parking brake boot and shift boot replaced with Mazda Alcantara pieces. During this service they scuffed the Mazda stainless doorsill covers. I brought my car in this week to have the Alcantara Door Panel Center Trim installed and the scratched and nicked up my left front wheel. This car only has 3400 miles on it. When I brought the car in and dropped it off the service writer noticed that I had covered the sill plates and shift knob with blue painters tape so you guys would hopefully not scratch them any further. So he had to know that I am extremely particular about my car. I know it’s just a Miata to your guys, but it’s a Lamborghini to me. So when I came back to pick it up I notice the front wheel damage and went off our the service manager and service writer who indicated something to the effect they would touch the wheel up. As you could imagine that did not set well with me and I insisted on a new CLUB SPORT BBS wheel. I indicated that I would be done with your dealership at that point and your service manager, Nicole I believe her names is recommended that I not come back after I pick up the wheel. I find it hard to believe you would allow non ownership to make that sort of decision with out consultation. As I told your service manager and service writer, all I want is to bring my car in, have what I want done taken care of, and for your dealership to not xxxx anything up. I do apologize for the profanity, but I was hot. These wheels are around $800 each. At this point in time I can’t imagine myself ever doing business with Lou Fusz again and work of mouth spreads fast. More
I have been dealing with this crew of wonderful people for a long time. Always caring and helpful. But, this last time in makes me kinda scratch my head as my bill was exactly $1200.
