Recall repair I brought my Forester in or a recall repair of the passenger side airbag. I scheduled the repair for a Saturday morning at 7:30am and mentioned that I brought my Forester in or a recall repair of the passenger side airbag. I scheduled the repair for a Saturday morning at 7:30am and mentioned that I was planning to wait for the repair. The person making the appointment said it should be two hours for the repair. When I arrived for the repair, the service technician said since they have fewer technicians on Saturday, the repair could take all day. He said the technician would start on the car right away and they would let me know a more accurate completion time. After about an hour, they said it could take a few more hours, so I was offered a loaner car at no charge for the day. The car was then ready to be picked up around 12pm that day. It worked out ok since I could get the loaner car. It probably would have been more helpful ti know the repair could last an entire day and to have just picked up the loaner car from the start. More

The root problem remained unidentified, so they suggested I contact the Lou Fusz counterpart in Creve Coeur since they have more equipment to deal with a Subaru issue. The Creve Coeur service department was very helpful, even though the exact cause has not been definitively identified. No charges were incurred on the 2 separate visits. Recommended improvements... 1) I was not informed of their new location when I made the 1st appointment. 2) There is limited parking, & it's not clear where a customer should safely park upon arrival for servicing. More
