I had gone on KellyBlueBook.com to obtain information about a new Avalon. KellyBlueBook in turn sends e-mails to area dealers to notify them of my interest. Nancy Schubert was the only person that foll about a new Avalon. KellyBlueBook in turn sends e-mails to area dealers to notify them of my interest. Nancy Schubert was the only person that followed up with me several times to see if she could be of assistance. I had visited a couple of dealerships in Illinois before I went to Lou Fusz, and none of them called me as promised. Nancy was wonderful to work with. She found the car I was looking for within hours of our visit. We were able to agree on a price, and I had my new Avalon the next day. All the people at Lou Fusz were friendly and courteous and seemed to really appreciate the business. Kudos to Nancy. She's a great sales person. More
Linda was great from the moment we walked in, 30 minutes until closing and drenched from the downpour. She found out what we were interested in and even went outside with us in the not-so-pleasant weather t until closing and drenched from the downpour. She found out what we were interested in and even went outside with us in the not-so-pleasant weather to look at the car we ended up buying. The business manager stayed five hours later than he was scheduled to work to make sure all of our paperwork was done and that we could drive our car home the next day (since he was off the next day) when we came back with our insurance information. We started out at another dealership and felt very underappreciated. We went to Lou Fusz on a whim and decided that night as we drove home that we should've went there all along. More
David was Great to work with. I would recommend him to others and the dealership as well. I was annoyed with one part of the deal which did not involve David. I believe his name was Bob Cook who handl others and the dealership as well. I was annoyed with one part of the deal which did not involve David. I believe his name was Bob Cook who handled the finalization of the deal. He had David right in a $1698.00 5 year extended warranty on the contract without my knowledge. I did not want or need this because the car still had the remainder of the factory warranty and a 3 month warranty from Lou Fusz and it would not make the car a good deal to me. When I told him I didn't want this and why was it already on the contract, he said it was something they offered. I would say that's an acceptable answer, but only if I was asked first. I asked him three times why they would put it on the contract without asking me he replied every time, that it was something they offered. I was getting nowhere and wanted to make it a pleasurable experience so I did not push the issue. I would always want to know about anything I'm going to pay for before it would be automatically added. Wouldn't you???? I appreciate your listening to this matter. Thanks, Drew More
Quoted good price. Chip was very familiar with the vehicle and could answer all questions. New vehicle was delivered before time promised. There was absolutely no hassel in the delivery process. Hello, This is a follow-up and is not a retraction of Hello, This is a follow-up and is not a retraction of my experience with Linda, my sales person. I was rather dissapointed with the attitude and pr Hello, This is a follow-up and is not a retraction of my experience with Linda, my sales person. I was rather dissapointed with the attitude and professionalism of Mr.Cook. Once I arrived in financing, after being told one thing by the Sales Manager, it changed. Mr. Cook was very condecending when I mentioned the terms had changed in just a few minutes. We were also extremely dissapointed when we found out that our car was not paid off by Lou Fusz, 10 days later. This was due to the fact that Mr. Cook had not gotten all of the paperwork signed the night the car was purchased. We were called numerous times by the lien holder asking when the car would be paid off. Mr. Cook had mentioned at the time of sale that the former finance manager had been let go and he had to come over from new cars to help us. He had stated that the former finance manager was not good with customers. I felt that he should not have even brought this up during the transaction, very unproffesional in my opinion. So, besides my great experience with Linda, I have to say that the unproffesionalism of Mr. Cook changed my opinion and I might not return to Lou Fusz as long as Mr. Cook is handling the financing. He is rather arrogant! More
From the initial contact through happy Toyota ownership and successful service visits, this Toyota dealer has reversed my previous experience of dealerships. Nancy Schubert was an excellent salesperson, ne and successful service visits, this Toyota dealer has reversed my previous experience of dealerships. Nancy Schubert was an excellent salesperson, never putting pressure on the sale, rather working with me to apply my list of wishes with the best product that could be found on the lot. When she didn't have answers to information I requested, she expeditiously found the answers. She was a pleasure to deal with, and I still stop by to say "hi" to her when I bring in my car for service. I couldn't leave undone this opportunity to also put in a good word for Louie Trevino, who worked patiently with me to solve the problem of no record of payments completed for my trade-in Nissan. The Nissan dealer was of no help. The finance company was no longer in business, but Louie worked diligently to resolve the problem and prove that my trade-in car had been fully paid for. One more anecdote will further display my appreciation for this dealership. I paid for the car with a check. Mrs. Schubert drove me home to get the check since I didn't have the checkbook with me. She got the check and left the car with me. Sometime later that night I realized I had given her a check from the wrong account, one which had more limited funds, insufficient to pay for the car. When I called in embarrassment, I learned that they had already discovered there were insufficient funds in the account. They were very decent about it and suggested I could simply send them my check from the correct account. I was concerned about giving them another check and their possible anxiety about it, so I went to the correct bank, got a certified check and took it to Lou Fusz Toyota, and they were totally gracious about it. Service has also been exceptional. Any questions I had were answered, concerns looked into, and I still have not yet had to pay any money for service, although I just took the car in for the 45,000 mile service. WONDERFUL!!! I LOVE MY CAR, and this dealership has earned my forever gratitude and loyalty! More
This recommendation is based on my experience in dealing with Ms. Nancy Schubert who led me through the various steps in the process of purchasing a 2011 Toyota Avalon. I called Lou Fusz on a Monday morning with Ms. Nancy Schubert who led me through the various steps in the process of purchasing a 2011 Toyota Avalon. I called Lou Fusz on a Monday morning after finding an Avalon of their web site that contained all the options I was looking for. I was randomly connected to Ms. Schubert in new car sales. She agreed to research the car I was interested in and promised to call me back within an hour. She called me back promptly with information on the car and offered to make it available for a test drive that afternoon. The car was waiting when I arrived and I drove it for a while. Ms. Schubert was able to answer all my questions regarding the car's features during the drive. Upon returning to the showroom we discussed trade-ins and cost and I agreed to buy the car that afternoon. Due to Ms. Schubert's professional demeanor and consideration, my experience in purchasing the Avalon was quite pleasant. I consider Ms. Schubert to be a very competent salesperson. In my case, I found her to be very proactive and accommodating thus minimizing my time at the dealership waiting for things to happen. Things were done when she said that they would be done. From having the Avalon ready for me to test drive to having the Avalon prepped for me to drive home. Ms. Schubert made the process of buying this Avalon a very enjoyable experience. More
