After a month of owning the car, the dealer now has come back trying to up our payment saying they screwed up on the financing. I contacted Loveland Ford about 7 weeks ago in search of a Ford Ranger. I was put in touch with Duncan McDonald whom seemed unfamiliar with the makes and models Ford produces, as I explained to him I was lo a Ford Ranger. I was put in touch with Duncan McDonald whom seemed unfamiliar with the makes and models Ford produces, as I explained to him I was looking for a Ford Ranger extended/supercab not a crew cab. He told me Ford hasn’t produced those since 2011. I corrected him and sent him a couple of listings and one I had seen in person. He was rude after having been called out the fact that he was wrong and told me they didn’t have anything. He called me two weeks later and tried to sell me a Subaru. He called me today, on the 4th of July, asking if I wanted to buy something- to which I replied that I found something from someone who wanted to make a sale and ended the call. Pro tip: if you work for a dealership it might bode well to be familiar with the vehicles produced by the brand, and if you work in customer service and sales- you might try having a little customer service. Otherwise we shop elsewhere. More
