The service department is not ran very efficiently. I dropped off my truck for a check engine light and they did not even look at it until 6 days later. Each day I would call and ask the advisor when I dropped off my truck for a check engine light and they did not even look at it until 6 days later. Each day I would call and ask the advisor when I’d have my vehicle diagnosed, each day he would tell me this afternoon or tomorrow morning. They are very slow and/or over tasked. Take your vehicle somewhere else if you need it back within a day or two. More
I bought a 2021 F150 from Loveland Ford. I had an issue where my dome lights don't turn on when I open any of the doors. I called Loveland Ford Service Department to see if they would look I had an issue where my dome lights don't turn on when I open any of the doors. I called Loveland Ford Service Department to see if they would look at it. The truck is still under the original warranty. I explained the issue to the agent in the service department. He told me I would need to bring my truck in and leave it for 3-4 days for them to diagnose the issue. i asked about a loaner since I would be without the truck, and he said his rentals were out and I would have to wait at least 6 weeks. I decided to go to a different dealer. I looked the issue up online and found it was a known issue with the BMS (Battery Management Sensor). There was a BMS reset process suggested (turn on switch but don't start, activate the high beam switch 5 times, and then depress the brake pedal 3 times). I tried this and the second time I saw the battery icon flash 3 times which indicated a successful reset of the BMS. Now the lights come on when I open the door. To me this looked like the Agent could care less about me and solving my problem. Very very Sad!! I won't be using Loveland Fords Service Department any longer, at least until they convince me that they care about me as a customer and re-earn my trust. More
