After driving a number of Volvos we finalized our decision and purchased the S60 Volvo Inscription and we are very pleased with our choice. Lovering Came Through I purchased my used truck from Lovering on March 29th. After having it over the weekend I decided to use a feature I had confirmed had worked on my t I purchased my used truck from Lovering on March 29th. After having it over the weekend I decided to use a feature I had confirmed had worked on my test drive. The truck would engage into 4H but not 4LO after several attempts I could not get it out of 4H. I had done my due diligence before signing for the truck and had called the dealership it was bought from originally for any service work done to the system. After having them tell me that due to privacy reasons they could not give me info besides the fact that it had been in for service and had a multi point inspection. Come to find out the 4WD system had been denied warranty due to abuse. I had noticed a bracket was bent on the undercarriage and some scrapping occurred on the cross member but the transfer case had no visible damage. I called Jon and brought it back to Lovering and they sent it off to the manufacturers dealership (not the one who denied the warranty the first time) who confirmed that it was working but after a few tries decided not to. They said the transfer case showed excessive metal flakes in the oil and that it would need to be replaced. Anyways needless to say my heart sank. But after talking with Jon the service manager at Lovering he assured me that something was in the works and that they had found a used unit with only 48 miles on it. Everything was replaced and the truck works fine. I can't say enough good things about how I was treated through the whole process. Alex the salesman was easy to work with, and very apologetic on my next visit to the dealership. Shawn was very nice and easy to work with with the finance, and Jon was very forth coming and even felt that the damaged that the original manufacturer had denied did not make any sense. More
