Left the car for an afternoon of preventative maintenance. The technician took the car down from the lift with the drivers side door wide open. After a week in the body shop, I got my car back wi maintenance. The technician took the car down from the lift with the drivers side door wide open. After a week in the body shop, I got my car back with a bill for 2/3 of the amount for the service and a 'sh*t happens' excuse. From this experience, I judged the Bloomington Acura and Subaru dealership to be neither service nor safety-minded in its culture and leadership. Went in for and oil change, tire rotation. During the general inspection I was told that both the engine air filter and cabin air filter were dirty enough to recommend being replaced. I decided to replac general inspection I was told that both the engine air filter and cabin air filter were dirty enough to recommend being replaced. I decided to replace just the engine air filter. That replacement was way overpriced at $50. Buying the filter at the local auto parts store costs just $20 and can be installed on my own. An air filter replacement (plus the cost of disposal and labor) should not cost $50! Other than that pricing issue, the service was really good, and my car is enjoying the new engine oil:) More
