Unhelpful I brought my car in for service for three things - the standard oil change/tire rotation that was due, an annoying noise and I had hit the antenna on I brought my car in for service for three things - the standard oil change/tire rotation that was due, an annoying noise and I had hit the antenna on the top of my car on my garage and it needed repair. I brought it in and discussed the needs with the service advisor. I was told they would do the service, fix the antenna and explore the noise. The car was not making the noise when I brought it in but does make the noise probably 90% of the time I’m driving it. I had also recorded a video of it on my phone and the advisor listened to it. I went and sat in the waiting area. After about an hour the advisor came out to tell me that they could not fix the antenna at the dealership because there is a dent underneath. This is not noticeable at all when I look at the car. He told me I would need to take it to a body shop to get it fixed. This was never mentioned as a possibility when I checked in and it came as a big surprise to me that the dealership would not be able to fix a dent. He told me there was no way they could do it. He said there is a body shop associated with the dealership down the road and if the guy from the body shop happened to walk through he could show it to him. I stated this really wasn’t helpful. I need to have the antenna fixed so it doesn’t fall off the car. He told me I would have to go to a body shop. He did offer halfheatedly to call them for me. I was frustrated that 1) the dealership couldn’t take care of what I brought the car in for and 2) if there is a body shop associated with the dealership I would have anticipated the service advisor would proactively have them look at during the 2 hours I was there so I maybe could have an estimate and be able to make an appointment for service. Instead I was just repeatedly told I should arrange these things. Fine I thought at least I would get the noise fixed. However this was not the case. I was told that the car was not making the noise so there was nothing they could do. This is despite playing the noise and describing the location. I was told I could sit and wait while they listened some more or go out and drive with the tech. It did not appear anyone tried to drive it to listen for the noise. Though I don’t think this matters since it happens at idle as well. I declined the offer since I had already been there two hours and now I was going to have to take another morning off work to go to a body shop. I felt the appointment was basically useless other than the scheduled service which still somehow took almost two hours which is way too long for an oil change and tire rotation. I also felt once I was frustrated by the outcome the adviser became less than helpful giving halfhearted responses and eventually just turned his back on me. It just seems pointless to bring the car back to the dealership if they can’t actually fix it. Also the car wash did not really clean my car. What a waste of time More

Not perfect, but righted a wrong My 2015 Subaru Legacy was having issues with starting, so I brought it here to be serviced. To make a VERY long story short, they had my car for a wee My 2015 Subaru Legacy was having issues with starting, so I brought it here to be serviced. To make a VERY long story short, they had my car for a week, sent it home with me having "repaired" it, and the next day it didn't start again. I brought it back in, they had it for another week before telling me the issue was with my after-market remote start. I then brought the car to the remote start provider to troubleshoot. It turns out, the technician there found that my starter fuse was blown and fixed it for me in 30 minutes. While I don't know enough about the technical side to determine why Subaru didn't identify this, it seemed odd to me. After expressing my frustrations, they gave me a gift card for future services to improve my satisfaction and win back my trust. While the situation was frustrating, I understand mistakes can be made, and companies who do something to try to right the wrong always gain my trust for the future. More

It was helpful that when I called about the oil change, the person on the phone recommended coming in before 9:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday for fast service. Boy was I wrong. I was greeted warmly, everything was thoroughly explained, they were fast (even though I didn't have a scheduled appointment) and the pricing was fair. They have a lovely waiting area with wifi and comfy chairs so I was able to knock out some work while I was there as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dealership for service. More
