I found scheduling an appointment at my convenience to be easy and quickly accomplished. As I waited fir completion, I was kept totally in the loop. I had the most unpleasant experience at this location. I have had major repair issues that range from engine failures, clutch failure and steering wheel repair done on my 2012 Sonata. Never had any issues i have had major repair issues that range from engine failures, clutch failure and steering wheel repair done on my 2012 Sonata. Never had any issues interacting with any of the service people. I came in the morning of 10/26/21 for break lights that won’t turn off and air bag light that was on. Keep in mind that the steering wheel was repaired by Hyundai in 2020. I had questions about the diagnostic fees/price gouging and that’s when the service person became argumentative. I asked to speak to a manager since she was asking me to shell out $500 in diagnostic fees that didn’t make sense. The service manager Carleen Shimanski came out with a scowl and an attitude to match. Needless to say she didn’t take it well that I asked for a manager and she really let me know it. Conversation went downhill immediately and her condescending attitude was definitely not appreciated, and was unproductive. Bloomington Hyundai treat your customers better and revisit the role of a manager with your leadership. A manager steps in to clarify and resolves issues. The approach should be consumer centered with retention goals. Carleen Shimanski failed to simply do her job that day because she either lacks the interpersonal communication skills or she chose to be that way. NOT OK!!!!!!!!!!! More
