Purchased my Elantra from Luther Bloomington in 2018 and have been using them ever since. Austin and the service team are great! They identified a bad wheel bearing and replaced it under warranty. A rating of 1 is way too high for my recent service experience. One of the reasons I brought the car in is I got a message that the car needed to "inspect drive train & boots." The service writer did experience. One of the reasons I brought the car in is I got a message that the car needed to "inspect drive train & boots." The service writer didn't know what boots were. Then further disappointed when I was asked if I wanted to pay for my oil change. I said no, the car is new and I get complementary oil changes through 36,000 miles. I was told I get four because Minnesota's harsh climate needs oil changes sooner than recommended 7,500 miles. NEVER heard that from my salesman. Then I was told by the service writer after my appointment that I would need an oil change after the next 5,000 miles. As I was driving home, I saw the sticker on the windshield said in 3,000 miles. I called and was told it was 3,000 miles (Nancy(=), the service writer said 5,000. I talked to him (Sean) and he said the sticker was wrong. I called my salesman, he wasn't in but another new car salesman (Josh) said the oil change is every 3,750. So 3 different answers from 3 Luther employees. The salesman said people get their oil changed as different mileage not exactly on the recommendation. I said that I had 3 different recommendations and have no idea why they are consistent. Pathetic. But, again, most disappointing is a key selling point of complimentary service through 36,000 miles turns out to be FALSE. More
