The other 3 doors is a hit and miss, took some fiddling with the key from the outside to get them to unlock so I could get into it. There was a recall (to my knowledge) on the lock actuator. I could be wrong, but I did research it. When I asked about it they just said "if there is a recall it will notify us." Turns out the actuator is what is broken. So they quote me 458 including the diagnostic charge just to fix the driver side and cant say if it will fix the other doors or not. I told them not to do anything with it since I'd have to make some calls. About an hour after this they called and said they got it open so they could work on it and the price would go down slightly, even after I told them not to touch it. When I went to pick it up, without repairs done, there is 2 dents, the bottom of the door is clearly not shut tight, and there are scratches on the end of the door. When I said something about this they got back to me and swore that they didn't "pry" it open, so they are unsure of how this all happened. Luther Honda Brooklyn Center sucks. This is not the first time I've had a problem and I am done dealing with you at all and will make sure to not be quiet about it. My hard earned money is being wasted because of your neglegence and disregard for what I, the owner and bill payer of the vehicle, wanted. Terrible service, terrible attitudes, and blantant liars. Although, Steven was actually very nice and listened to my concerns, such a shame he got stuck working for a crappy company. More
Good Times / Bad Times I came to Luther Brookdale Honda due to it's location near me. I was in the market for a new car to replace my 17 year old Saturn and wanted a car pretty simular like it that had front wheel drive, a manual transaxle, and didn't have a ton of "Bells & Whistles" loaded on it (Like to keep things simple...). I saw in an article online about the 2018 Civic group of cars that pretty much had what I wanted and went to Honda's website where you could build your own car and came up with my future car, A 2018 Civic LX 2 door coupe with a manual transaxle in their Lunar Metallic Silver color. I printed everything out and went to the dealership to get everything rolling. I asked if a female salesperson could be the one to help me out since my Mother & Brother had a better experience having a female salesperson. I was introduced to Crystal Anderson who didn't really see any problems with what I wanted to buy, but did tell me it could end up being late spring before my car would finally show up. The sale went well with her and I mentioned about I'll probably hear from her in a few months next about my vehicle being placed on order. After not hearing anything for about 3 months, I went back to the dealership wanting to know if anything was going on with my order. I was told that Crystal was out on medical leave and that a sales manager would talk to me about my order. He told me that my car was a "Rarity" and so far no word about it and he would investigate and find out what was going on and call me back in a day or so. After waiting another month, I went back to the dealership again asking about my vehicle order. Another sales manager Said he would "absolutely" find out what was going on with my order and get back in touch with me. At this point in time, all I wanted to know was the order even placed and a car would soon be built ! After waiting two weeks, I finally took matters into my own hands and called the Honda USA headquarters to find out if any Civic LX manual coupes were being produced at all and where at. I was told by a manager there that she felt the dealership would be best to find this all out (Back to square one...) and did notify the dealership about my problem. A day later, I get an E-mail from Ben Haertzen telling me that he is working on this and even mentioned about having to make 14 phone calls to other dealships seeing what inventory and / or orders they had on hand. I visited Ben and thanked him for his efforts and I mentioned all I wanted to know that a car was actually out there or being built with all the features I wanted I created on Honda's website. About a week after that, I got a phone call from Ben telling me he finally located the car I wanted in Pennsylvaina (Order was placed for one there for some reason...) and Ben was able to head the car his way !! Finally six plus months later, Crystal was able to return to work from her leave and I filled her in with what was going on with my order during the time she was out. She did tell me she was in touch with Ben about all of this and wished she could have been at work during all of this to see what she could have done. Anyhow, My vehicle was actually there and me and Crystal finally was able to complete the sale and she was very helpfull showing me all the features of my new vehicle. I know I made things difficult by wanting a manual transaxle on my vehicle since I've driven them for some time now and enjoy being "Part of the machinery" instead of wanting the car to "Drive itself" like it seems like the direction most vehicles are going. But Honda's website said I could build it that way and get it too. Just didn't realize it would be that difficult to produce my vehicle. You used to be able to get a manual transmission vehicle first before the automatic version. Now it looks like it's the other way around. By the way... As I write this, I've had my 2018 Civic LX Manual 2 Door Coupe In Lunar Metallic Silver for two days now and quickly are becoming "Part of the Machine". This vehicle is pretty much doing and feeling like what my Ex-Saturn was like. Crystal, Ben... Your efforts were worth it. Very happy with what I got. More

Having owned Acuras for many years, I was interested to see whether the Honda service team would stack up. All in all, an excellent visit. The Service Writer was quick, efficient and a pleasure to work with. She kept me informed while I waited and informed me promptly when it was done. The service team did the high level of work I expected - even better than some past visits to my Acura dealership. More
