Honda Accord Recall Woes Had recall on 2008 Honda accord to fix SRS. After 2 hours of waiting, service person told me that it would be another 2 hours and the "after-market" Had recall on 2008 Honda accord to fix SRS. After 2 hours of waiting, service person told me that it would be another 2 hours and the "after-market" seat heating parts need to be removed to setup SRS unit. This included removing one of the seats. He also told me in order to do the work, I would have to pay to remove and re-install the seat and seat heater unit. I was also told that if I didn't do this work the SRS light would stay on an there would be no air bags deployed in the event of a collision. So..... had the work done and paid to have the seat heater unit and seat removed. If this is for a recall, they should cover all costs of the recall. As a side note, when we bought the car and had the seat heaters installed, Honda performed all of the work. They were kind enough to provide a loaner vehicle so I didn't have to wait for the rest of the work to be performed. More
