I am a loyal Toyota customer, and I also specifically choose to take my van to the Toyota service center when it needs work. One of the primary reasons I do so is because my expectation is that at Toyota choose to take my van to the Toyota service center when it needs work. One of the primary reasons I do so is because my expectation is that at Toyota, they will not miss any of the 'quirky' things that my van needs after routine maintenance (e.g. resetting the 'maintenance required' indicator after an oil change). This week, I stopped in for a new battery. When I opened my driver's window after driving a few miles away from the dealer again, I realized that the auto-power window wasn't functioning. Called back to ask how to reset, and was asked to turn around and come back. When I got there, I got a bit of runaround from the tech that was at my door when I opened it and told him that it had worked in the morning but not after the battery replacement so I was looking for the switch to make it work again...he was indicating that it shouldn't have anything to do with the battery replacement, because that was a simple cable lift/replace (seemed obvious that he was uncomfortable and seemed to be trying to dodge any 'perceived responsibility'). While he went to find a Service Advisor to help, I opened my manual and found the reset procedure myself and performed it. Clearly within my ability. HOWEVER...as I said, my expectation is that Toyota shouldn't make their customers dig for those things after maintenance...if it's not already part of the 'battery replace' checklist, it NEEDS TO be. I'm willing to pay for Toyota parts and service because I expect better in the results. Irritated to have to make the extra effort and to be told to drive the extra miles for something so simple. I have gone to this dealership for over 20 years and I have never had a bad experience. Every employee I have interfaced with has been very professional and knowledgable. When scheduling an appointment I have never had a bad experience. Every employee I have interfaced with has been very professional and knowledgable. When scheduling an appointment I have never had any problems getting in when I want. The staff always recommends work that needs to be done and lets me know when there is not a need to do other work. I feel they are very fair and honest. More

I came in 5/13/11 for a no charge oil change and tire rotation on my 2010 Highlander. You have determined tire pressure should be 35 lbs, even though the sticker on the door frame shows inflate to 30 lbs rotation on my 2010 Highlander. You have determined tire pressure should be 35 lbs, even though the sticker on the door frame shows inflate to 30 lbs. However the tech put in 40 lbs in each tire (very over inflated). How would you feel about the quality of work done if air pressure cannot be put in correctly? To me, this simple thing reflects on your quality of service work. More

I own a 2003 Camry Solara Convertible. I LOVE my car. I went through 3 “corolla rollas” as my son liked to call them and then decided to purchase the car of my dreams. I loaded my Solara and informed the went through 3 “corolla rollas” as my son liked to call them and then decided to purchase the car of my dreams. I loaded my Solara and informed the service department staff of my goal of 450,000 miles! The service manager, Steve, and the entire team in the service department have provided me with exceptional, professional, reliable, courteous, exemplary service since my son was in a baby car seat and Steve would assist me in moving him into a rental car during a service appointment. My son turned 24 years old this past Monday. That means almost 24 years as a Toyota City customer! As I was taking my car in this past week for maintenance a woman at a gas station made the foolish suggestion that I should take my car to a regular service station to avoid cost or unnecessary repairs. She regretted her comments when I very clearly told her that I would NEVER trust my car to anyone but Toyota City. It is one of the things I value most about my relationship with Steve and his team is that they always explain what must be done, what should be done and what can wait and why. They respect my pocketbook but also make sure I am driving a safe reliable vehicle. I knew I was due for some major maintenance; I am over 210,000 miles…Steve called me and explained that there were a couple other belts and pulleys that really needed to be replaced. With the trust developed over the years I knew he was right. Man, I feel like I am driving a new car again! The get up and go is back and I guess I had not realized how the performance had waned over time. The other funny thing that happened is that my battery literally died as they were moving into the service bay. Talk about good timing. Although, it did cost me another 100+ dollars. My point in writing is to say I LOVE MY TOYOTA. Toyota City has taken a lot of hits in recent months and I think folks need to hear they have customers that will never drive anything but Toyota vehicles. I would like to know what I am suppose to do now that they are not making the Solara convertible anymore? Eventually I will need a new car. More
I drove to Minnesota from South Carolina to be with my Mom who was in the hospital. My,new to me,2009 4Runner needed servicing(lights came on halfway to Mn.) and my family suggested Toyota City since they Mom who was in the hospital. My,new to me,2009 4Runner needed servicing(lights came on halfway to Mn.) and my family suggested Toyota City since they had been very pleased with the service there over the years. I was able to get an appointment within 2 days of calling(at the height of all the recalls!!). I found Mr.Miller, the Service Manager, and his entire staff to be friendly, professional, polite and willing to explain procedures, pricing;etc with patience and understanding.Since I hadn't owned it a long time I asked ALOT of questions! When I spoke on the phone later to Mr.Miller the first thing he asked about was my mom. His kindness meant the world to me! My 4Runner was clean and running great when I picked it up later that day. I've had no problems since. The final charge was actually lower than the first estimate over the phone since my 4Runner didn't end up needing all they thought it might. They gave me the new figure when I dropped it off and needless to say the lower price made me very happy! They say you can tell a man's character by the way he treats those who can be of no possible service to him. Since I live in South Carolina and probably wouldn't be a repeat customer I think it speaks volumes about Mr.Miller, his staff and Toyota City. My sincere thanks to them! I highly recommend this dealership!! More
