Having issues with my tired and after 3 times of bringing my car in I still have no answers. Not only did I purchase my car from the dealership but I brought it brand new and just hit 10,000 miles after almo my car in I still have no answers. Jason was great to work with. Gave me more than adequate updates, almost daily. When a service tech parked my car, which is an automatic, they decided to pull my emergency break, and all the way. The problem with this is, is that if an emergency break is hardly ever used, which typically in an automatic they are not, if they are hyper extended to the level that mine was when it was parked, (pulled all the way to its maximum potential) it can cause the cables to freeze in place. And that’s exactly what happened to mine, I wasn’t able to pick up my car when the service work was done. I had to leave it over night until the next morning. The cable on the passenger side kept the rear caliper locked in place at that time. Which was extremely frustrating and stressful for me, especially since this could have been completely avoided. There is absolutely no reason an emergency break should be used on a flat grounded area with an automatic transmission vehicle. So the next morning I get a call from Jason. He was my service advisor throughout my cars procedures. Explained the situation to him, told him to have his manager call me. Had to explain the situation again. Was told my car moved freely, which it wasn’t the night before, didn’t want to come down there again l, not to be able to pick my car up again. Maurice at that time became argumentative with me about how I should have told them not to use my emergency break, which we all know it’s not a great idea to start to argue with an already disgruntled customer, in any customer service industry. So I had to go in and talk to the GM. He was very polite and respectful. Helped smooth out the situation. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for that issue. More
