Repair was in the shop for two weeks. I had an issue with my 2017 Ford Escape. The cooling fan kept running after I shut the car off. The first time it ran the battery down, and I had to I had an issue with my 2017 Ford Escape. The cooling fan kept running after I shut the car off. The first time it ran the battery down, and I had to have it towed in. It wouldn't start even with a jump. Since the car was in park, we had to skid it on to a flat bed and haul it in. The service adviser, called me and said it needed a new relay. It was replaced, and I picked up the car, and two days later, it did the same thing. Since I knew that the cooling fan would run down the battery, I drove it into the shop, and disconnected the battery cable. The people at Luther were very nice, and kept me informed, but had a difficult time diagnosing the issue, even with help from Ford. It was extremely frustrating since this was a new vehicle, and I'm sure the technicians and service adviser felt the same way. They repinned some electrical components and replaced another electrical part. It runs well now, and hasn't acted up, but they couldn't really tell me it was fixed and wouldn't happen again. I'm not unhappy with Luther Ford, they were very understanding and gracious, but I am less than confident with my one year old Ford. More
