Brandon was super friendly and everything went smoothly and quickly for my scheduled service appointment. I spent the hour in the waiting room which was clean and comfortable. and quickly for my scheduled service appointment. I spent the hour in the waiting room which was clean and comfortable. More
I'm not sure if I'd recommend this dealership or not. They did work extremely hard to get my loan approved, which I really appreciated. However, they made it a point to show me they were losing money, $1300.00, with the bank in order to get my deal done. But because they had done so many deals the previous few days, they didn't mind losing a little money. The next day, my husband stopped in to drop off some items from my trade in and he was told that because of our trade in, we would get a $250 gift card. The salesman ran back into the office, came back out and told my husband that it had already been applied in the loan, so we wouldn't get the gift card. I looked over our loan docs, and it actually looks like we were charged almost $600 more than what the difference was between my trade in and the cost of the car I purchased. I also looked over everything-every number, every line item, and did NOT see a "credit" for $250 for the trade in. I feel like I just dealt with a shady sales dept and dealership. I really appreciate all the hard work that was put into getting me approved, but I feel like something isn't right. I also don't feel comfortable or even welcome back at the dealership. More
I had a really wonderful experience. Vern explained things to me without more detail than I could handle. I love the sportiness of my new Kia car. I will recommend this dealership to my friends. things to me without more detail than I could handle. I love the sportiness of my new Kia car. I will recommend this dealership to my friends. More

My experience with Luther Bloomington Kia began in 2010 with the purchase of my first Kia Soul. Based upon the value, incentives and the excellent customer service I have consistently received from everyo with the purchase of my first Kia Soul. Based upon the value, incentives and the excellent customer service I have consistently received from everyone at this dealership over the past three years from sales, service and admin, it was a no-brainer to return to Luther when I was ready to trade in for the 2013 Kia Soul. Of course I was not disappointed and the experience actually exceeded my high expectations. Also --- I LOVE MY CAR! More
Kevin, Samantha, and James exceeded all of our expectations with their courtesy, knowledge , and performance. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. They placed us into a ve expectations with their courtesy, knowledge , and performance. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. They placed us into a vehicle that met all of your needs where quite a few other dealerships had failed! We also were impressed with the power of the Luther's dealership network in its ability to cross over to other brands of automobiles for parts and locations. Thanks, Jim & Tricia Humphrey More

I entered the dealership intending to purchase a used 2010 Kia Soul + but they gave such an outstanding trade-in value for my 2004 Honda CR-V that I was able to drive out with a NEW 2013 Kia Soul +! I found a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee listed at another Luther dealer location. Shawn Schmidt had it brought to the Luther Kia location for me to take a look at it. The vehicle was in good condition overal Luther dealer location. Shawn Schmidt had it brought to the Luther Kia location for me to take a look at it. The vehicle was in good condition overall. It also had the V8 and mileage in the range I was looking for. My trade was appraised and trade value of $7000 was agreed. The Jeep needed a new rear bumper cover and the retail price was correctly discounted at or around $700 for this. The deal was done and I was to return the next day to turn in my trade, pickup the Jeep, and pay the difference. I did return the next day after work. Shawn informed me that his used car sales manager Kevin Hood wanted to speak with me about my trade. When Mr. Hood sat down, he informed me that the price agreed for my trade value was now $5000. He also informed me that whom ever gave that appraisal for my trade had no authorization to do so. He was attempting to take advantage of me. This didn't work. I left the dealership. I did call Mr. Schmidt that evening and he was just as confused as myself. He asked me to return on Saturday when Adam Burns was working. I received a phone call on Friday that they were willing to give me $7000 for my trade. I again accepted and agreed to return on Saturday as planned. I did return on Saturday and met with Mr. Burns to complete the sale. Shawn walked me through the process and I was in and out relatively quickly. Making a major purchase make my head spin around. After I had some time with my newer vehicle I notice the interior was filthy. I had to remove the double sided sticky tape on the dash. I cleaned the windows that were coated with cigarette smoke. The paper towels were soaked with disgusting brown tar. The floor of the vehicle was also unacceptable. Never even vacuumed. I was able to hold the floor mat in a horizontal position and it didn't even bend. The cargo area had wood particles everywhere. It looked as if someone was transporting fire wood and didn't clean up the mess. The engine compartment was also not cleaned. It was filthy and leaves were stuck in all corners of the engine area. It is winter here, no leaves. The exterior was very clean and looked to be fully detailed. This is when I noticed the engine coolant was well below the add line on the overflow container. I am no mechanic, but if I notice this what else is wrong? I returned to pickup my plates and spoke with every manager at the dealer about the issues. I assumed it would be a no problem sir, we will get right on that for you. It was not. They want to argue about everything. I was worried that the vehicle was not properly inspected prior to sale. Dave Ramy went over the car with me. He wanted to debate everything that was wrong as well. He said that I had been driving the vehicle for 2 weeks and this could have all happened between now and then. I was forwarded to Kevin Hood. He was going to get me the inspection sheet from the original dealer. Where is my sheet? Why don't I have one? Probably because the vehicle was not inspected. Mr. Hood offered to fill the antifreeze and vacuum the vehicle. When you purchase a vehicle from a dealer there is reconditioning associated with the cost of the sale. They just put this in their pockets. These issues that were very simple and turned into a circus by the lackluster upper management of Luther Kia have not been resolved. *****Shawn Schmidt and Adam Burns are very respectable and I would highly recommend them to anyone. *****Kevin Hood, Ryan Radosevich, and Dave Ramy are the typical slimy representatives that give car dealerships a bad name. Do your homework, stick to your guns, and stay away from them. More
