I found it difficult to rate the service center on you questions above, since I've had positive experiences with Westside in the past. The Tiguan is the second VW I've purhcased from Westside. My concern started about a week ago when I brought our VW Tiguan (2018) in for an early 30,000 mile service and check up since we are going on a trip soon. I noticed on my way home that the check engine light was on. So, I got a new appointment and brought it back in today. They did fix it, however, I was told that the reason the light was on was the mechanic's fault, since they didn't properly put the oil cap on. While I appreciate that they took responsibility, they did not offer me anything to make amends for this. This mistake cost me about 3 hours of my time during a very busy week. I would expect that the last service fee, approximately $175, would be returned, or offer to provide the next oil change for free to make up for my lost time and inconvenience as a show of good faith i if you hope to have me as a repeat customer. Brought car in 2 months ago because the brakes were choppy and needed air conditioning unit sanitized. Service department completed sanitize and evidently performed a 30,000 mile inspection. When I called to schedule a pickup, I asked about the brakes. Service tech proclaimed “what’s wrong with the brakes? I stated that was the main reason I brought the vehicle in. Forward 2 months and approximately 500 miles later....I brought the car in because the brakes still didn’t feel right. Diagnosis....warped and rusted rotors. This experience tells me the vehicle was not test driven and diagnosed properly initially. Upon picking up the vehicle, I got halfway home before I realized the technician had given me someone else’s car keys with their house keys attached....my car started because I brought my spare with me. A minor inconvenience for me, but A less scrupulous person could have copied the house keys and perpetrated a crime. I have lost all confidence in the service department at Luther Westside Volkswagen. I am going to purchase a new vehicle in the next month....not a Volkswagen and not from a Luther dealership. Too bad, because my last 3 vehicles have been Volkswagens and my family’s last three have been from a Luther dealership. More
Helton was great! Very happy with my experience at Westside VW. Was in and out, including filing for financing for part of the vehicle's value, in less than 2.5 hours. Finally got the vehicle I'd been looking for, and it's in great shape, and the price was fair. Financing terms were wonderful. I am not particularly into VW as a brand, though I love my GTI; I am considering coming back here for my next car despite that fact solely because of how great my experience was. More

All staff were extremely focused on the personalized sales experience for me as the buyer, listening to what my needs were. I worked mostly with David A. and Craig E. but also had a wonderful conversation with Steve H. Even though the experience level of those I worked with was varied, everyone was professional, respectful, and highly knowledgeable. VW makes a solid product that targets the sweet spot of performance, value and reliability. I purchased a model with a couple of additional features that I wasn't necessarily looking for (my choice) but my granddaughter has already demonstrated the practicality of those additional options. My lovely bride couldn't be happier either - a total win for everyone! My purchase will be our primary retirement vehicle in a few years and I have the highest confidence that my expectation for this 2020 Tiguan SEL purchase will be exceeded (this is my 2nd Tiguan). I highly recommend my extended family at Westside. Visit them for one of the best automotive experiences when you're in the market for a vehicle change.
