19 years of great service! I knew Tom Daly from way back racing SCCA at BIR, also from the local LOL SCCA & Vintage group using the facility for tech & meetings. He assigned Maura to the deal because i inquired online with her on a new unit, Both were great to deal with, we traded in the wife's car that we bought new from West side VW back on Dec 2001 so we are a return customer, my son-in law also bought a used VW 2 weeks ago from the used lot. Shout-out to Helton and Devin at Luther Westside VW Our daughter needed a car last November and that is when we met Helton Cerqueira. He helped us find a 2013 Honda Fit that met all of our requirements Our daughter needed a car last November and that is when we met Helton Cerqueira. He helped us find a 2013 Honda Fit that met all of our requirements for price, mileage, and more. Once we got the car home we discovered the spare tire was bald. Really bald - it looked like a racing slick. We texted Helton and he replaced it for us immediately and we all had a great laugh. This week I decided it was time to replace my car and chose to go back to Helton. I had a 2014 Honda CRV that wasn't playing nice and I no longer needed a vehicle that large. I scheduled a test drive in a 2018 Mazda CX-5 and before leaving on the test drive I talked to Helton about what I wanted in my next vehicle. The list of criteria included car size, reliability, safety, price, comfort features, interest rate, maximum payment and more. When my husband and I got back from driving the Mazda Helton said, "I think the car you are looking for is this 2017 Tiguan Wolfsburg Edition." We test drove it and discovered it was a very quiet, smooth ride with responsive steering and the turbo made merging in traffic really easy. The Tiguan met all of my criteria and more. I am happy to say that I am the proud new owner of a 2017 Tiguan Wolfsburg Edition due to the terrific salesmanship of Helton Cerqueira with the assistance of Devin Sowers in the finance department. Our first great used car buying experience with Helton and Luther Westside VW brought us back for a second and we will be back for the third the next time we need a new-to-us vehicle. More
Missed brake inspection and poor customer service I had my Touareg in couple of weeks ago for service. They said they checked the brakes. A week ago the Brake warning light came on. Do not say you checked something if you either didn't or can't tell. Also when I picked up the car, I paid on line. They asked when I would pick it up. I said 12:15-12:30. When I got there the car was not there and ready, There again don't ask me for a time if it doesn't matter. I went in, was pointed to the pick up desk which had no one at it. I waited. The rental guy finally came over and rang the bell for me. You actually know that you have a problem with service at pick up that YOU HAVE TO HAVE A BELL there. When after a while, finally a service(?) guy got up and found my keys. I had to wait for my car to come from "the ramp". They dropped it off. I thought you ran the car thought a car when it was picked up. I guess not. I've no problem with the actual work done on my car but simple customer interaction is poor and deserves only one star. More
I would give zero stars if that was an option. I brought it in for service and once again, it took twice as long to fix as promised but worse than that, the car left the shop with a dangerous safety issue t it in for service and once again, it took twice as long to fix as promised but worse than that, the car left the shop with a dangerous safety issue that it didn't come in with. So back I went! Last year, I had to return my car 5 times to get it properly fixed and it took over 2 weeks. Now this happens. I almost hit someone because the park function isn't properly working! When I brought it back, they acted annoyed and also did not properly recognize the severity of this safety issue. Fool me once, Shane on you. Fool me twice because I was dumb enough to give you a second chance? Shame on me. More

However, after my last visit (valve cover gasket and spark plug replacement), I have a "check engine" light on when leaving the shop, Also, I asked for an estimate on the air conditioning and it was told it was not just freon charge. It's helpful to know what needs to be done and how much a repair will be before scheduling for budget and time. More

Maura is an excellent sales consultant. She really knows her stuff about the VW GTI. She was very patient with me and let me test 3 different cars without making any fuss or getting pushy like some other de her stuff about the VW GTI.
