I need a dependable car to get to and from work, and it is especially important when I'm on call that I can depend on my vehicle My suggestion to any healthcare worker seeking a dependable car and good customer service is to run fast and far from Luther. I bought a Used Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen TDI from Brian. He was very helpful and friendly, and I even commented that I would definitely buy my next new car from them. UNFORTUNATELY, it started having problems before it even got home. The car was shaking at 65mph and bogging down while driving a consistent speed. My husband tried calling and emailing Brian the next day, but there was no reply. I eventually talked with someone in the service department because at that point the check engine light had come on. I made an appointment to bring it in and be looked at. My husband finally got in touch with Brian and said we wanted to return the car. However, by the time we talked to an actual person, it was past the five day return policy - about a week after purchase. I have always wanted a Volkswagen wagon, but this car was causing me some concerns. I was completely fine with exchanging the wagon I initially bought and financing a new wagon in order to get a dependable car. Brian assured us they would stand by their car and make us happy. I was two hours into the drive down to pick up the new car when I got a phone call saying they would not take the car back in trade for what I paid or purchase it back. Essentially they sold me a dud car that they lied about inspecting before selling it to me and then refused to make things right. We live three hours away from this dealership and this process of disappoint has taken several days of our time and numerous tanks of gas. More
