While Ted Rea was working in sales for a large telecommunications company, he started buying and selling cars as a hobby. After 5 years of nurturing his hobby into a business, he chose a spot in his hometown of Leavenworth to open a retail showroom. The showroom opened in 1994 with 15 vehicles and was a quick success. Ted soon turned his small venture into a larger organization with his brother, John, who opened a store in Hutchinson Kansas in 1995.
Ted and John believe their business is successful because the Luxury & Imports staff is unmatched. People recognize the value of buying a pre-owned vehicle over a new one. Customers are always looking for the right vehicle from a certain year at the right price. And the staff and Luxury & Imports is an understanding group who really listens to what customers need. The car a customer comes to see may not be the only one that meets their need. Consultative selling, as opposed to a quick sale, is how Luxury & Imports establishes lifetime customers. Ted has customers now who will drive past 20 to thirty dealerships to get to his lot. Ted and his staff are there for customers through the whole buying process, and beyond. This value makes Luxury & Imports different from many other dealerships. As our motto goes: "Our success is based on helping our customers find the right car at the right price."

He responded to us right away and gave us the Carfax, their service records, and even took a video for us before we could see the car. You can tell he takes pride in his work and likes helping people. Once we came in to see it we felt at home and they even let our daughters color and play games while we worked out a deal. Chad helped us with financing and was friendly, fast, and helped explain everything! I would recommend Cooper and Luxury Imports to all of my friends and family! Great Car, Great Experience Working with Cooper and the team at Luxury and Imports was seamless. They did what they said they would do; I did what I said I’d do. Their original asking price was fair according to my research, so the negotiation was pretty narrow. But the deal was apparently fair since we both agreed to it. Good experience. More

Easiest/Best car purchase we've ever had! My wife and I bought a 2011 Lincoln MKZ 8/6/18. We saw the car online and Bus Mgr Cooper Albright called me to confirm what time we coming to look at My wife and I bought a 2011 Lincoln MKZ 8/6/18. We saw the car online and Bus Mgr Cooper Albright called me to confirm what time we coming to look at the car from NKC. It was at one of their other dealerships and he made sure it was in Leavenworth when we arrived. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. No one dressed in suit and tie. It was like going to your friend's car lot to buy a car. When we were negotiating, Cooper came over and had the service report from their service dept. Showed me brakes and tire life and what they had done to get the car ready. I didn't have to ask for that. More dealers should care about their customers like these guys! I had a check engine light come on 2 wks after I bought the car and Cooper made sure I had a loaner while they fixed the problem. 4 days later another check engine problem and this time Cooper sent someone to my office to pick up the car and bring it back when done. At their expense! Cooper was genuinely sincere in apologizing for the hassle. Will definitely be buying my next car from them and will be telling anyone I can about where to buy a car. We have purchased our last couple cars from Luxury & Imports and wouldn't go anywhere else! The buying process was quick and painless, we were offered great trade in values, and they have a great select Imports and wouldn't go anywhere else! If you don't see something on the lot, just ask - they will find what you are looking for. Their full service service department is very reasonable and timely - no long waits for oil changes, etc. Go see John (or any of the other guys), you'll be glad you did! More
