I am disappointed! I put down a $1000 deposit for a great vehicle unfortunately I was not approved for credit. After several calls to this dealership I was finally told I can pick up my final payment to find out when I got there it wasn't available! What a waste of time! Then after I get insulted by the sales person because they have been holding my money for 5 days! What a lack of customer service! I won't be going back there again!!! More

So, I have a pretty good idea of which dealerships are problematic and which adhere to higher ethical standards. So, when I decided that I wanted a Camry Hybrid to be purchased via the USAA Car Buying Service, I selected Lynch for its reputation and proximity, even though its price was slightly higher than other participating dealerships. We scheduled an appointment to look at the cars and were told to ask to speak with Barbara Whyte. She was ready and available for us at the designated time (a Saturday afternoon during a busy month - so that's impressive). She was knowledgable and accommodating - even letting us do an extended test drive so that I could check out the dynamic cruise control in action. They had to special order a vehicle that had the options that I wanted, and they were able to get it delivered even more quickly than estimated. Barbara kept us well informed the entire time. We did not finance the car via the dealership, so there wasn't much need to for us to work with their finance guy. Still, finance manager Jason Knapp insisted on making a pitch to sell us an extended service contract. I happen to know quite a bit about these products and their value, and I demurred. He persisted, but it was not anything that I would consider to be a high-pressure situation. And, he did not try to sell any of the more questionable "add on's" that are commonplace at less reputable shops. When the car arrived, they managed to turn us around and get us on the road in a couple of hours. Most of that time was spent with perhaps the most thorough orientation of the car's features that I have seen. The finance manager who delivered the car, Julie Olsen, was quick, pleasant, and professional. Only a few minor quibbles. Tires were not inflated to the proper level, and one tire was a couple pounds PSI below the others, and the service department was cleared out. The inflation level was not seriously low, however (the indicator light was not on), but a tire underflated by 3 PSI can make a difference in mileage - obviously a big concern for someone buying a hybrid. Also, some of the functioning of the electronic key has to be set by the dealership, so I'll have to go back if I want to be able to automatically open the window and moonroof with the key. That's an odd design characteristic and not the dealer's fault. But, I had to learn that function via the manual - it seems the dealer could cover that. But, as indicated at the top of this paragraph, I consider this minor. I would not hesitate to recommend Lynch Toyota and would go there again. More
