I had taken my truck in and the guy in the service center was terrible when asked what they did. He kept telling me to go to the cashier and she would know she had the paperwork. As a “Service Department” the last thing I got was any customer service. I’m went to the cashier and she had no idea. The guy was a total jerk so I called Jeff Layton the owner and told him what happed. Move forward 4 weeks. Called and scheduled to being my truck back in on a Tuesday before I went on vacation. They had it all week. Got a call in the next Monday morning and they hadn’t done a xxxx thing to my truck that was in the list. Gave me a ridiculous price $1,800.00 and suggested a new AC compressor, which it didn’t need, I just need a valve replaced on the compressor. Them said $2,000.00 for a brake job and they were supposed to put in new pads since that was a recall that they never did. Our family has bought so many trucks through the years at the Laytons Chevy and Ford dealerships that I lost count. I don’t know what has happened to this place but I won’t be buying anymore vehicles from there or ever going back to the service department. It’s really a shame that it has become what it has. I have always know the Laytons to be men of integrity and I still believe they are….. I do not believe the employees hold that same value. More
