Went here to lease a Subaru. Was turning in another lease. Salesman "Abe" started out by asking me if my husband knew I was there. That should have clued me in to go elsewhere. Ended up leasing a Fores lease. Salesman "Abe" started out by asking me if my husband knew I was there. That should have clued me in to go elsewhere. Ended up leasing a Forester. I like Subarus; there is no problem with the car-- but I was told by Abe I would not have a payment until Nov. 1st. Got the bill in the mail due October 1st, and now Abe does not return my calls. Avoid this dealer. More
The experience was despicable, in that the personnel I encountered displayed an open disregard in exercising professionalism and respect to a potential customer. The individuals seem more concerned with encountered displayed an open disregard in exercising professionalism and respect to a potential customer. The individuals seem more concerned with making clear that if I were to purchase the vehicle which I had selected, that there would be no negotiations and they had became unruly when I attempt to do such. These employees of LYNNES NISSAN exhibited the willingness to run customers out the front door should the customer refuse the initial offer. They literally told me to 'go and buy the car you want elsewhere - if I could find it.' More
I was VERY happy in my dealings with Michael Mais and would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle. Everyone at Lynnes was polite and businesslike. But Michael Mais was would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle. Everyone at Lynnes was polite and businesslike. But Michael Mais was exceptional. He helped me find the exact car I wanted, with all the features I wanted. He was patient in listening to my wishes, and walked me through the car buying experience. Michael spent a long time showing me numerous cars and pointing out the features of each. He quickly located a car that had the color upholstery I wanted (even though it wasn't standard in the model I wanted) and took care of all the necessary paperwork to get the car registered. When I picked up the car, Michael took time to show me all the features of the new car, and wouldn't let me leave the dealership until I understood everything I needed to know in order to operate the car confidently. He even personally put my plates on the car. I inadvertently left my EZ-Pass at the dealership, and Michael Fed-Exed it to me. The gentleman at my loan company commented on the courtesy and professional manner Michael and the others at Lynnes extended to him in their telephone exchanges. His statement to me was "I wish all the other dealerships I do business with conducted business in the manner Lynnes does." More
Ordered a BRZ 6 months ago. After being lied to for 6 months, they say car is in only it is a swap from another dealer and the wrong color and auto instead of manual. Showed up on Friday afternoon after making an Internet appointment earlier in the week and getting numbers from Internet CSR. The minute I walked into this dealer a feeling of shady dealings came over me. appointment earlier in the week and getting numbers from Internet CSR. The minute I walked into this dealer a feeling of shady dealings came over me. And boy was I not wrong. Walked in and was assigned Olga. I explained my situation and told her the deal I was given by the Internet rep approved by her manager. Olga comes back and says we cannot come near that price and so I leave. I get a call from Internet rep I was dealing with asking me to come back after work and we can get the deal for you. So I come back and met with Olga again. She said she would try hard to get this deal done. She says manager has to approve and will come talk to you. After waiting 20 minutes not so honest Abe comes over and says that the only way the deal would get done under the parameters put forth by the Internet rep is if Jesus came and made the deal. I told the non believing in Jesus Jew Abe that its a good thing Jesus rises in two days. :) The deal he worked up was 110 dollars a month more on a lease than what the Internet manager gave me. Avoid this place like the Bubonic plague. Any negotiations done online mean absolutely nothing at this dealership. The manager himself admitted that the Internet CSR's job is to get traffic into the dealership and nothing else. More
My husband found a 2003 Honda CVR on-line at Lynne's for $4,480.00. I e-mailed the company. I received a call back immediately from Shauhte. She then placed me on the phone with Lorraine. They made for $4,480.00. I e-mailed the company. I received a call back immediately from Shauhte. She then placed me on the phone with Lorraine. They made the deal, and my husband gave her a $100.00 deposit on the car. He told her he would be there on a particular day at a particular time 3 days later. Lorraine promised my husband that the car would be held. This dealership was 5 hours away from our home. I specifically told her that. She assured me that the car was held for me. Me, my husband, and my two children. We made the trip and got there when he said we would. I called Lorraine and told her we were here & she said she would be right down. Another salesman approached us and had us sit down. He immediately asked my husband for his license. My husband said, "I would like to see the car first". He insisted. My husband said, "I don't just hand my license over; I will give it to you after I see the car first. He started using the computer. He was on it for a bit, and he says, "I hope it is here; I will be right back". He was gone for 15 minutes. He comes back and says, "the car is not here. Is there something else I can interest you in like a" . He mentioned three different cars. My husband said no. He then said, "I will be right back". He was gone for 8 minutes. He comes back and has us come further into the office and has us sit down at a different desk. Another man comes and sits down. We talk with him a bit. He says, "I will be right back". He was gone for 13 minutes. He comes back and says, "I don't know what happened, but the car was sold. My apologies. Is there something else I can interest you in? My husband said, "no, I would like my $100.00 deposit back". He said, "okay". He left and took care of it. Came back, gave us a receipt, and apologized again. We left. We were there for an HOUR, and HOUR! The first guy we talked to was approximately 60 years old and he had dark brown hair, brown eyes, and had a long scar on his right cheek. The second guy we dealed with was approx. 50 or so with black hair and blue eyes. More
I admit I was hesitant to use this dealer based upon the previous reviews, but my experience was totally different. I went here to try out the Nissan Altima and Suburu Legacy. My salesman, Eddie Garcia, w previous reviews, but my experience was totally different. I went here to try out the Nissan Altima and Suburu Legacy. My salesman, Eddie Garcia, was great. We test drove both cars and he spent a lot of time talking about the differences of the two cars. They honored the truecar.com price without any hassles. I got a new 2013 3.6 Legacy that took 2 weeks to arrive. On pickup day I was out of there within 1.5 hours (my insurance company was responsible for half the wait). More
We went to Lynne's in Bloomfield, NJ based upon a flyer we received advertising all sorts of great deals-got there and was talked into buying the 2012 Imprezza which we agreed to for the price; while waiti we received advertising all sorts of great deals-got there and was talked into buying the 2012 Imprezza which we agreed to for the price; while waiting we fell in love with a pre-owned 2007 Saab 9.3 convertible, but chose to continue the deal with the new Imprezza. My husband signed the papers, we were told to clean out our vehicle, they tagged it for inventory, removed our plates and then the bombshell-they could not work the numbers to our satisfaction. This after spending almsot 5 hours there. Then Abe suggeted the Saab that we were oogling and that they could definitely work the numbers and then gave us a great price. We were so bummed over the loss of the Imprezza and having spent over 5 hours for nothing, we left empty-handed. After much thought and investigation over Sunday, my husband waited outside before the dealership opened on Monday - well, the car was still there, thank goodness. Now, the numbers didn't work anymore---different story, different numerical configuration and no Saab. Plus, another disappintment. Abe had us convinced on Saturday that we could get the Saab instead but when Monday came along everything changed. This time he tried to talk us into a Nissan Sentra, a car we did not go there to buy. We have purchased more than 6 cars within the last 10 years and have NEVER experienced such a schlock operation. After reading the reviews for this dealership we are actually quite relieved that we did not pursue any further business with Lynne's of Bloomfield. It's clearly obvious that we would have had our share of trouble with this dealership as they have displayed themselves to be totally incompetent. I feel very sorry for all the previous customers who are now stuck in the clutches of this unprofessional dealership. Can't wait to read about them closing their doors in the near future as I cannot possibly imagine this place doing business much longer. Word to the wise-if you are a car salesman looking for a job-DO NOT SEEK EMPLOYMENT from Lynne's of Bloomfield, NJ. Buyer Beware-DO NOT FALL FOR ANY OF THEIR ADVERTISING GIMMICS-there are plenty of other reputable dealerships out there-we know, we've been there and certainly will NOT go back to Lynne's of Bloomfield, NJ.
