Working with M'Lady Nissan was a fairly painless experience. The sales representatives were helpful, easy to talk to and comfortable to work with, I got a good deal on a trade in and I love my new F experience. I had been looking at several dealerships to buy a new Nissan. I am a young twenty-four girl who went to M'Lady dealership with my sister and brother-in-law. As soon as we got out of the car Patrick Tat Nissan. I am a young twenty-four girl who went to M'Lady dealership with my sister and brother-in-law. As soon as we got out of the car Patrick Tate pounced on us. He asked me what I was looking for and I told him either an Altima or Sentra. He showed me the top of the line Altima and I took it for a test drive. I already knew that this was out of my price range but he never asked me what I could afford. He dropped a bunch of lines saying how he was the owners nephew and that he works on salary so commission doesn't make a difference to him which seemed like a complete lie. After looking at the Sentra he asked me if I wanted to talk prices and I said ok thinking that he would explain to me the price differences between the Altima and the Sentra. He started rambling off numbers and figures and percentages. He was explaining to me how a lease works and a bunch of other stuff that I did not care about since I had no plans to lease a car. When my brother-in-law tried to stop him to let him know that we weren't interested in a lease, Patrick said "don't interupt me!" Which completely shocked me! He was so rude. Then my brother-in-law told him, "No I will stop you right now, we aren't interested in leasing a car, we were interested in the cost of the cars" and Patrick replied, "so you just wasted my time then?" Other words were exchanged and we decided to leave. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. More
I negotiated the price of an Altima over the internet with Patti. She gave me a super low price. I emailed her back to ask if she had made a mistake and to verify all the equipment. She verified everyt with Patti. She gave me a super low price. I emailed her back to ask if she had made a mistake and to verify all the equipment. She verified everything and I thought I had found a good deal! I showed up at the dealership and that's when all the games started. I had sales people and managers all trying to explain that the price did not include the "destination". $800!!! They wanted me to pay $800 more dollars for something that’s already included in the sticker price. I finally conceded and said I would pay the $800. Then I really got angry when they told me I had to qualify for certain rebates! Isn't this illegal! I never said I did qualify for all these rebates! Why would you use them to quote me!!! Are you a recent college grad? Are you trading in a leased vehicle? Does your mother own a horse and buggy? What kind of questions were these? After all the rebates that "i did not qualify for" and destination charges, they told me that there was $580 worth of accessories on the car that I had to pay for! By the time they were done changing the price on me, I was paying over $2780 more than they had qouted me! Then to top it off..... They advertise that their sales tax is only 7%. It's my first time buying a car so I thought they could save me taxes. But as I learned you pay sales tax based off were you register the vehicle. They were just going to charge me 7% and let the state whack me with a separate tax bill later!!!! Needless to say, I ended up telling them I had to think about it. When I was walking out I heard one of the sales manager's giggling and saying that I needed my Daddy to make the decision for me. I was furious and kept walking. I left and never will ever go back. I went to Arlington Nissan where I ended up buying the car and had a great experience. Please do not waste your time going to M'Lady Nissan. They are rip-off artists and Lisa Madigan should investigate them! More
We always regretted buying a car from any dealerships. Always had a bad experience. I have to commend this dealership and the staff. What a wonderful experience from start to finish. Seems like something Always had a bad experience. I have to commend this dealership and the staff. What a wonderful experience from start to finish. Seems like something always goes wrong whether, it's the salesman, warranty or financing. I have to say they all made me feel in control and not taken to the dry cleaners. I will definitely refer my family & friends. Thank you for a truly nice day. More
We were hunting for a new Nissan Maxima, and we shopped 8 different dealers in the area. Every dealer we visited used bait and switch tactics by advertising low prices in the paper and on the web, and then different dealers in the area. Every dealer we visited used bait and switch tactics by advertising low prices in the paper and on the web, and then failed to honor them. M'Lady was the only one to step up and make a firm commitment to a great price. Mark Kropp was my salesman, and he did a superb job assuring me that the "out the door" price he gave me verbally would be final price when I showed up. The price was also the best one I received from the 8 different dealers I checked. Sure enough, when I arrived, Mark had everything set....just as he said. The GM, Abe Mustafa, stayed late on the night we bought the car because he knew I was concerned about them pulling a bait and switch too. As soon as I walked in the door, Abe met me, assured me that he personally approved the pricing and that Mark had everything set. Mark knew that we preferred gray over the color they had in stock. While we were enroute to purchase the Maxima, Mark called me to tell me that they just received a gray one. If I wanted that one, he would have it unloaded and ready when we arrived. It was just unbelievable relative to my other experiences. Bryan Murphy, the finance manager, helped insure that we had a speedy and accurate purchase experience. He did much of the paperwork without me present so all we had to do was go through it, verify everything, and sign off. Totally smooth! Finally, Mark did a thorough check out where he walked us through all of the advanced features of the vehicle. He even called a couple days later to see if any questions had come up. Now that's customer service! The bottom line is that M'Lady Nissan, Mark, Abe, and Bryan operate with true integrity. They sold the car for the VERY LOW price that was advertised, and the customer service was outstanding. If you're looking for an HONEST dealer, call Mark and buy your car from M'Lady! Ed S. More
The manager needs to find some other profession. I went there twice seeking to trade in our 2007 Odyssey and buy a Armada platinum both times the salesmen were pretty nice but the manager did not seem to w there twice seeking to trade in our 2007 Odyssey and buy a Armada platinum both times the salesmen were pretty nice but the manager did not seem to want to sell the car to me because both times after the salesmen conferred with him they came back with a very negative approach as the saying goes their loss is somebodys gain. I drove 40 miles to gurnee Rossen Nissan and bought 2010 Nissan Armada Platinum at a very resonable price 2 days later. More
Our visit was most pleasant - and that is an amazing statement considering that most previous visits to different car dealerships in the past many years have been less than mediocre! We were met by Mar statement considering that most previous visits to different car dealerships in the past many years have been less than mediocre! We were met by Mark Kropp who had cars ready for us to view (had called previously) and with absolutely no annoying pressure gave a thorough overview of the cars involved. He was also able to answer questions; displayed integrity; worked with expediency; gave his full attention. After purchase, he continued to go over details of the car's features. It was truly the most enjoyable car purchase experience had in many years. More
