However, we were particularly impressed by her professionalism, listening skills, multi tasking & her willingness to assist & accommodate us. Lauren is super knowledgeable about the Mini Cooper & enjoys the vehicle. We've enjoyed many high end vehicles, but not had many enjoyable experiences from other dealerships. In fact, everyone at this dealership chipped in to take care of our requests in a timely fashion as we don't live close by the dealership. My sales person Lauren walked me over to watch and chat with the service technician Ryan during the oil change; others might let you watch from a distance. Easiest Remote Car Purchase.... Ever I live in Maine. I love Minis. There are no Mini dealerships in Maine. That wouldn't matter anyway, as I'm very particular about the (nearly) new Ce I live in Maine. I love Minis. There are no Mini dealerships in Maine. That wouldn't matter anyway, as I'm very particular about the (nearly) new Certified Minis I buy, and will spend months searching online waiting for just the right one to come up. I bought my first Mini 5 years ago from a dealership in Dallas, TX. I thought that process was easy. All the paperwork was done remotely using FedEx to ship documents back and forth, and when everything was in place, I flew down, was picked up at the airport, taken to the dealership, did a thorough check of the car, completed a few pieces of paperwork, and then set off on my 1,800 mile drive back to Maine. Buying this Kite Blue 2014 Cooper S Roadster from Matt and the team at Mini of Allentown was even easier. I think I first spotted the car online on a Friday afternoon. I sent an online query, and Matt got back to me within a couple of hours, both by email and phone. We were then in constant contact the whole weekend, and by Monday morning had finalized the details of the deal, including financing. All the documents were sent to me FedEx overnight on Monday. On Tuesday I got the documents signed and notarized, and FedEx'ed them back to Matt (using their prepaid shipping label). By Wednesday afternoon all the paperwork was finalized on their end. On Thursday I took a bus, and airplane, a train, another bus and an Uber to get to my hotel in Allentown (the 12 hour journey from Maine to Allentown was the worst part of the whole experience). On Friday at 8:30 Matt picked me up from my hotel personally, and drove me to the dealership. The Roadster was already waiting out front for me. We spent a few minutes checking it out, before Matt said we needed to go across the road to the Finance Center in the BMW building to finalize the paperwork. No soon had he said that than Rick Mugione walked over to us with a folder containing all the paperwork.... completed. Seriously. Nothing else to do. I've had more bureaucracy buying a Big Mac! I could have driven off right then and there after all of 10 minutes, but Matt kindly took the time to explain all the controls in the Roadster to me (a few changes from my 2007 S Convertible), even helping me to Bluetooth pair my phone with the car. We also went on a short but fun test drive (when is driving a Roadster ever NOT fun??), before returning back to the dealership. A quick cup of complimentary Keurig coffee and a browse of the instore Mini merchandise, and I was out of there by 10am. Family were waiting outside for me (actually they were just waiting to see the car!) when I pulled into the drive at home shortly after 6pm. Most fun 8 hours of my life was that drive from Pennsylvania to Maine. I could have turned around right then and driven all the way back! Thanks again Matt, Rick, and the rest of the team at Allentown Mini for making the purchase process so simple and enjoyable. More
