Our certified technician performed a full inspection and identified a crack in the transmission case, not a failed seal as mentioned elsewhere. To support this diagnosis, a video was taken on-site clearly showing the source of the leak from the cracked case. While we respect the opinion of the independent inspection, we stand behind our technician’s diagnosis and the documentation provided at the time of service. Our recommendation was based solely on what was observed during the inspection and not an attempt to upsell or misrepresent the issue. It evident to me that you are a company man. I was sold this vehicle in your dealership. Bought a warranty on it. And magically the technician found a cracked transmission. I think I saved the video so there is evidence that contradicts your claim that the technician clearly shows a cracked transmission. This has no merit. The car, with cracked transmission, would not drive very long… (still going by the way), So if it did have a cracked transmission, it was sold by the dealer as such. Your tactics are shameful and the service was poor. You and I talked about the video and agreed it only showed a leak… You really have to do better…. This response makes me want to report the issue higher…
