My car got serviced, but the experience sucked. I bought my MINI Convertible brand new in the summer of 2018. I had an amazing experiencing purchasing - the sales people treated me (and my husband) I bought my MINI Convertible brand new in the summer of 2018. I had an amazing experiencing purchasing - the sales people treated me (and my husband) with respect, the finance guys were not pushy, and overall left me with a good feeling. Cut to a year later when I needed a service due to an oil leak; I scheduled the service over the phone, which was an ordeal in it of itself - they couldn't find me in the system, but could find my husband. They kept calling my husband with information and updates, he repeatedly told them to contact me, they repeatedly said they'd updated my profile in the system to include my number and not his but alas, it never got fixed. Maybe a technical error, I thought. Surely this is not indicative of how they treat their female customers. Unfortunately I was wrong. When I got to MINI and they took my car, ran some tests on it and told me I was ineligible for a service since the computer inside my car had been reset, and would have to pay for it out of pocket. The service guy spoke to me like I was a dumb housewife with zero responsibilities and understanding of what a car is and the situation. I can guarantee if my husband had come with me, I wouldn't have had this issue (In fact, my husband had to call the manager in order to speed things along). I had not gotten my yearly service from MINI and had a visible oil leak. After being given the run around for some time they told me they would "speak to their manager". Great! Except from my vantage point, I was able to see the guy who was helping me do anything but speak to the manager. I was kept waiting for over an hour during a work day when I was told this would be a quick in and out experience. I felt disrespected, undermined, and it frankly ruined the MINI brand for me as a whole. The entire experience felt sales-y and unprofessional. I dont think I would recommend this MINI as a service center for other people I know who have the same car. (***The older gentleman who helped me get my loaner set up was an angel and very sweet, kind, respectful and helpful.) More

On this visit I was helped by Mark and I couldn’t have been more happy. He was sweet, patient, helped me with all my problems/needs with a smile on his face. I was having an issue for almost a year, and he was able to take care of it within 10 minutes of explaining to him the issue. There needs to be more people like him in the field. More

Despite the challenging nature of my service they handled it with professionalism, care and courtesy. My issues were taken seriously and promptly. I wish I had known this years ago! More

Worst car experience I should have listened to friends and family when they warned me about mini cooper and bmw leasing and how they don't care about YOU as the customer b I should have listened to friends and family when they warned me about mini cooper and bmw leasing and how they don't care about YOU as the customer but more of how to attempt scheming you. Never have I had such crap customer service and made to feel like it was MY fault that they're understaffed/no car loaners/service "needed". I paid for tire insurance for 3 years only to have them tell me that the "insurance doesn't cover much" and "your sales rep should have informed you of the specifics." Never had to pay for over mileage, tires/excess anything when I leased a Lexus, Toyota or Volkswagen. But I guess they also never made me as the customer feel like an xxx for ever going to lease with them in the first place! Front desk receptionist didn't have any customer service skills to even say hello EVER and the service desk basically brushed me off as though their dealership issues screwing me over for 3 years was "oh well, sorry you got the crap end of the stick" scenario. After 3 years they decide to clean house and it's MY problem that I dealt with horrible service for those 3 years. Newsflash- they haven't cleaned that well clearly! And they could care less if I lease with them again so I'll be sure to tell everyone I know/meet to BOYCOTT MINI/BMW! It's unbelievable that this type of customer service and schemes can exist. Stay clear of this dealership and organization if you value yourself as a customer!!! Thanks for ruining my mini cooper experience that I've wanted since I got my license 20 years ago!!! More

Also your technician find very dangerous damage on one of tires. I did not remembered if i have tire insurance but the guy who made all paper work went somewhere and bring my tire insurance, so replacing tire cost me $0!!! I just was chocked what kind of service i did get. My personal thank you to this employer and to everybody of MINI in Paramus you made my day! Boris Kogan, Paramus NJ. More
