Not Happy I bought my mini clubman two years ago, it had less than 40000 miles on it. Within two months I took it back and it was the timing chain. They said t I bought my mini clubman two years ago, it had less than 40000 miles on it. Within two months I took it back and it was the timing chain. They said they replaced it. October of this year I take my Mini in due to an engine warning light on. I drive 3 hours to St Louis to have it serviced. They tell me it's valve gasket and fix that. At the same time they tell me water pump may be going bad, but it's not an emergency and if it goes warning will come on. I asked if it needed to be fixed then and he said I could wait again not an emergency. So I decide to wait. One month to the day water pump goes out, no warning light. I live 3 hours from nearest Mini dealer, so I take it to,local mechanic who services them. Over $1000 to repair everything and notes timing chain not good. I call Mini of St. Louis because very concerned how can both of these big ticket repairs be happening when they replaced both two years ago. Water pump was replaced in 2014 also. My daughter has put maybe 6000 miles on this car. Plus I wanted to,let them know how disappointed I was at their diagnosis in October, no emergency? My daughter could have been stranded on the side of the highway driving to her college due to the water pump.. The service manager was very abrupt with me and said the only way he would deal,with it was if it was at an authorized mini dealer. Again that's 3 hours for me with a mini I can't start up. I have tried calling back and left two voice messages with no return calls over the past couple of weeks. One call was made before I took the mini to my local mechanic, no return call. I am highly disappointed with the whole place! My advice is don't buy unless you live close to a dealer because you will be visiting a lot. More

The attention to service begins with people like Mary answering the phone and then continues with Rick or David in th Mini of St. Louis is just that!! The attention to service begins with people like Mary answering the phone and then continues with Rick or David in the Service Dept., the technicians working on your car, Carrie in billing to Aaron and Derek who wash, vacuum, and bring your car out to you when finished! And while your car is being serviced, help yourself to some healthy snacks in the guise of fresh fruit (Yes! I really DO mean healthy!) and complimentary beverages and WI-FI! Check out the new models and don't be surprised if Neil Westfall, Mark, or Karen greet you and ask if you can be helped or... take home a new one! (Smooooooth, Neil!) Seven and a half years of outstanding service I've just picked up our MINI convertible from a routine maintenance at MINI of St. Louis. We bought the car from them new in February of 2009. The s I've just picked up our MINI convertible from a routine maintenance at MINI of St. Louis. We bought the car from them new in February of 2009. The service was good then and it's somehow only gotten better. Todd the service manager and Dave and Rick the service advisors are extremely knowledgeable, always helpful and just good guys to talk with. Their mechanics are excellent; repairs have always been "once and done", I've never taken the car back to have work redone. And all of them never give up when symptoms are hard to figure out - they stay with it until they find the solution and you're satisfied. More
