STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! They said they did the recalls yet all the old parts are in vehicle! Since these are airbag recalls huge safety issue! I brought my 09 wrangler in They said they did the recalls yet all the old parts are in vehicle! Since these are airbag recalls huge safety issue! I brought my 09 wrangler in for the passenger side airbag and clockspring recall and i also wanted an odd death wobble diagnosed (extremely random and hard to duplicate). I was told vehicle was ready to pick up the same day and that both recalls were completed and tech supposedly was able to duplicate said issue and i just needed a whole new front end at 3 grand out the door. i was shocked at the price and did decline suspension work, i went to pick up vehicle at 5:50 on friday night and was surprised at the the 215 diag charge where i wasnt given a break down in parts, nor any reason why the entire front end just needed to be replaced. The cashier could even find my ro due to advisor deciding to write it up in an entirely different name. upon recieving vehicle, i started to wonder if recalls were even done. i looked up 19s33 and it shows replacement of steering column shrouds which i inspected and they were the original ones. I called this morning to speak with the service director and after he gathered info he called me back stating that the recieved parts were damaged and when i inquired about the diagnosis of just an entire front end he stated that it probably just needed a steering dampener. Now when i picked up the vehicle, i was told all repairs were completed but how is that possible if parts were damaged? i dont feel any of the recalls were done and the director is trying to cover up for tech, i also dont think i got any value of the 215 and would like a refund due to the tech just attempting to throw the kitchen sink at the issue. I recently purchased a higher mileage used vehicle. First mistake, trusting they did a thorough inspection on the vehicle before selling it. Second mistake, not purchasing the extended warranty First mistake, trusting they did a thorough inspection on the vehicle before selling it. Second mistake, not purchasing the extended warranty. Less than 5 weeks from purchase (still has temporary paper plates), heard a loud grinding noise when shifting from Park to Drive. Turns out the rear differential was shot requiring a full rear end replacement and $4500 out of pocket. Mechanic was "surprised" they sold the vehicle given the condition underneath. More
I have had the worst experience with this dealer. We purchased an Acura and I’ve had the car for 6 weeks when a maintenance light came on. It’s due for $2600 in maintenance. Upon inspection by an au We purchased an Acura and I’ve had the car for 6 weeks when a maintenance light came on. It’s due for $2600 in maintenance. Upon inspection by an auto shop they said all maintenance had been neglected. They said the dealer didn’t look under the hood and the engine had rat poop in it. The transmission is shot, water pump leaked all over the timing belt, the radiator is bone dry and all fluids are empty and it needs spark plugs and a battery. The manager, Corey will not help or acknowledge any problems. The service manager Kevin said they ran a full used car maintenance check to ensure it passes state inspection but that’s hard to believe. I keep getting the run around from ALL staff when asking questions. It was a horrible experience and although the warranty covers part of it they will not pay for items neglected by routine maintenance. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE and find an HONEST dealer!!!! If I could give them ZERO stars I would. More
Run far away from the used car department! We purchased a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country at the beginning of last summer, and it has been nothing but a headache ever since. Red flags should We purchased a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country at the beginning of last summer, and it has been nothing but a headache ever since. Red flags should have been seen from day one. The sales associate Nicole failed to tell us that we were approved for three times the amount of the vehicle we purchased. Had we had known this we would have went with a newer vehicle. Within the first three weeks we had a check engine light come on for an issue within the transmission. I called the service department and was told they could not look at the vehicle for over three weeks. I then took it back to the used sales and Nicole told me not to worry about it since we have the bumper to bumper warranty (this was a lie) and ran the code herself. Then told me she would get back to me after she talked to a mechanic about the code. We made it through the summer and early fall months, but come October had issues once again. The check engine light came on once again, and the van was not shifting properly. Then it started randomly dying or not starting. I was able to get it started and straight to their shop. This is where is sat for over a week, where we had to pay over $1000 for a rental car. Only to find out that it was the TIPM (fuse box) that had died and of course that bumper to bumper warranty did not cover this part. Dwayne (the service department employee) told me then that they sold me a piece of xxxx, and I needed to fight with the used car department. I did demand that the used car department handle this as we had only had the van for 4 months. Fast forward to today, where the van once again has been sitting in a shop for over a month. How this van passed inspection is beyond me. I am currently fighting with the warranty to get coverage since the engine, transmission and catalytic converter have all failed on the van. Speaking with mechanics there is no way that this could have just happened within the past year. I spoke with Kyle (Finance Manager) who verified that we have the warranty that should cover the parts that have failed, yet we still do not have a decision. Kyle put me in contact with Darrell (Warranty Solutions) who says he wants to get us taken care or but has yet to do so. I have tried to take this higher up with Mac Haik and have not heard back from any upper managements. We have now had to cancel summer plans due to the lack of a vehicle for our family, and the fact that we may have to pay out of pocket for repairs. This was our first purchase with them and we will NEVER be back! More
Spent all day at the Mac Haik dealership in Georgetown and was presented with an awesome salesman. Lance wireman was the best salesman I’ve come in years. He wasn’t pushy, wasn’t aggressive whatsoever. Ve and was presented with an awesome salesman. Lance wireman was the best salesman I’ve come in years. He wasn’t pushy, wasn’t aggressive whatsoever. Very very friendly and probably one of the most laid down to earth type of guys I’ve ever met. Regardless, he helped me find the vehicle I wanted and was very honest trough out the process. If you plan to buy here, ask for Lance. More
I bought my Ram 1500 classic at this dealership and have to compliment James White for the most satisfactory salesmanship I have received from any Ram dealer. If he ever left this dealership, I would do bus to compliment James White for the most satisfactory salesmanship I have received from any Ram dealer. If he ever left this dealership, I would do business with him again. Now, the problem dishonest service! In September 2020, I took my truck in for one of the free oil changes, at mileage 15,372. Anthony Santos was the service representative. I told Tony that I thought I should be getting a little better MPG and could he check it. He told me that the truck was due for injector service and they needed to be cleaned. I questioned that but he said it was a recommended service for the mileage noted. I never received a RAM owners manual that listed the recommended services at the listed mileage intervals so I took his word for that and agreed to have the service performed. He also told me that there was a $20.00 charge for the FREE oil change, and tire rotation, since they used synthetic oil. So, I agreed to that too and a cabin filter change. My bill for a free oil change and tire rotation suddenly amounted to $330.26 when I picked up my truck. Later, I did not see any mention of the injector service performance on the itemized bill. When I got home and opened the hood, it was so dirty with greasy imprints that it looked like every mechanic was working under the hood. But the greasy smears appeared to be from the oil change. After the frustration settled down and I was able to talk to other dealerships about these charges, not one other service manager recommended the injector service at 15,000 miles. Subsequent to this service at the Mac Haik dealership in Georgetown, I have had my oil changed and tire rotation done at a different dealership free of charge as advertised. I have written to the dealership about this complaint without a response. So, Tony might have seen an increase in commission at my expense, but the dealership will not have the opportunity to sell me my 4th new Ram truck or service again. I requested a service manual from this dealership and they must have forwarded the request to the manufacture since they forwarded one after about three weeks. My advice, stay away from Mac Haik dealerships. More
