I purchased a new Honda EX Accord on 2/28/13 and the dealership experience @ Madison Honda, Madison NJ exceeded my expectations. I leased my previous 2010 accord from a flagship dealership (which isn't dealership experience @ Madison Honda, Madison NJ exceeded my expectations. I leased my previous 2010 accord from a flagship dealership (which isn't always a good thing because they treat you like a number) but staff @ Madison Honda were direct with me and didn't con me into get a car or held me captive for hours. Initially, I wanted to save and purchase the base model accord and the sales manager took care of me and got me into a higher model for the same price monthly price I wanted to pay throughout the term of my new lease. I admire their honesty and the staff overall is friendly. I would recommend Madison Honda to anyone who is interested working with a friendly staff who is will to compete with other dealerships to gain your business & trust. This was a no nonsense, no pressure, customer friendly, deal ready operation. The atmosphere was relaxed yet professional. Later that day, an hour or so longer concluded the paperwork, new vehicle orientation, tutorial re bells and whistles, etc. I left with a good feeling about Madison Honda, its people and policies. We've had two follow-up telephone calls to check our satisfaction quotient. Three business days after driving home with the new car Madison called to let us know that our registration and license plates were ready. Based on our experience, we plan to use Madison Service even though we have geographically closer choices. Our overall sense is that we were not just lucky on the day, but Madison operates well above the usual dealership stereotype by design. More

My sales consultant was very professional, courteous and efficient. When we pulled up he was outside waiting on us. He ensured that he understood our needs and worked towards fulfilling them. He was very patient because I wanted a red car and they did not have one on their lot. He tried everything and everywhere to get me the red. When that did not materialize, he took me downstairs because I was whining by then and showed me all the different colors so that I can select the one that I liked the best. While Paul was busy running around getting things finalized, I was eating oreo's and sun chips compliments of Madison Honda. When I picked up my car tonight, he patiently went over all the features, functions and buttons and even activated my phone on the new phone feature. He then taught me how to use it. I visited eight local dealerships in search of a new SUV. Madison Honda was one of few where I didn't feel as if I was being railroaded into something. The process of buying a car is flawed by the haggling that goes on everywhere (except Saturn, which is out of business, and Scion, who doesn't make a vehicle suited to my needs), and is often made uncomfortable by pressure exerted by the salesperson's manager. This was simply not the case at Madison Honda where Jacob treated me with respect and a very high level of courtesy. Everyone, from the telephone receptionist to the Business Manager who handled the pre-delivery paperwork, to Jacob was professional and polite. I am looking forward to a long relationship with this dealership and heartily recommend anyone in the market for a Honda contact Jacob. More
