Not the greatest this time! After 6 hrs of major repair work I thought all was well. The next day a large puddle of oil was on my driveway so had to go back. It took another 3 hrs to be able to look for the problem and fix it. Something had not been done properly the day before. This was really my first unpleasant experience though, and I will continue to take my car to Maita Honda for servicing. More

So far I’m a lot happier and will update again once my issues are completely resolved. My main concern is that I’m a single mother with two young children. My 6 year old just had major brain surgery June 18th 2019 and I really needed help and instead was faced with a $2400 bill just to replace spark plugs and ignitor coils. my friend did the work for me instead and my parts and labor only cost about $300. Really felt like I was taken advantage of at that time and still very unhappy with John Dacy’s customer service. It pays to be honest and upfront with customer from start to finish instead of hitting them with a ridiculous bill like this. I don’t think any one in there right mind would ever pay that much just to screw in new spark plugs. Took my friend about 10 minutes per plug if that. More

Friendly & knowledgeable staff! Loann answered a question I emailed in and I wanted to see a car. She was in the middle of helping another customer when I got to Maita Honda so she a Loann answered a question I emailed in and I wanted to see a car. She was in the middle of helping another customer when I got to Maita Honda so she asked Steve to do a test drive with me. Steve explained all the bells and whistles and then some on the car I was looking at and was patient with my questions. Came back the next morning and Loann helped me through the paperwork to buy the car and showed me a couple features in the car. Michael made the financial side a breeze too. More

Fixing Power Steering Noise Wife brought in 2005 Honda Pilot for noise from power steering. She told them what I thought was wrong and Honda said they would charge 150 to diagnos Wife brought in 2005 Honda Pilot for noise from power steering. She told them what I thought was wrong and Honda said they would charge 150 to diagnose the problem. She also told them about the gas guzzling issue and they said it was the lifter adjustment issue and to fix it it would cost 400+ . Then Honda recommended the belt change and water pump change which they said could fix the problem. Also a tune up which came to a total of 1900$. Wow. Then got a call next day to tell me the tensioner needed to be replaced another 400$ or so. I asked why so much when you are already working on the belt and pump area. He said the had to remove the power steering pump. I said ok with lots of hesitation as the price is getting really high. When I picked up the Honda I asked if the noise of the power steering was fixed with all this and he said not sure I would have to wait and see if the noise returns and pay them another 500-600 to fix. Well the noise is back next day and they should have taken care of the problem when they were working on it since they had to remove the power steering pump already. No I am not happy at all. They need to fix the original issue. Please Help More

Service On Tuesday 10/29/19 I brought my new Ridgeline back to the dealership to have a seal put on the paint and interior of the truck and a small piece of c On Tuesday 10/29/19 I brought my new Ridgeline back to the dealership to have a seal put on the paint and interior of the truck and a small piece of crome replaced on the cab of the truck. The service department said it would take about 4-hours. The service writer said he would call when the job was complete. The dealership provided me with a free rental car, which I very much appreciated. The seal turned out great (I think), because it is clear, I could not see it. The seal was done in the 4-hour time frame as estimated. I reside in Sparks, NV so I returned to the dealership in 4-hours. The replacement of the crome piece took about another 2.5 to 3 hours which semed like a long time waiting at the dealership. Had I known it would take that long I would have done other things before returning the rental car. I did not receive any paperwork after the services and I did not receive any typle of paperwork to show that the work was completed or that I returned the rental car in good condition with a full tank of gas. The lady that waited on me said she would email the paperwork to me. I have not yet received it as of the morning of 10/31/19. Over all the transaction at Maita Hond was good, everyone we dealt with was very knowledgeable, friendly and very polite. More
