Spark Plug and Valve Adjustment Service Service did not have all parts needed to complete the service that day but provided a rental car for me because of the delay in completing the service Service did not have all parts needed to complete the service that day but provided a rental car for me because of the delay in completing the service. Staff were very courteous and helpful during the visit. When I picked up my vehicle and left the facility after about a mile of driving I noticed that I had two lights on my vehicle display - an IMA and a hybrid battery issue symbol. I returned to the service facility and they attempted to correct the issue - made two attempts because although cleared in the first return, they reappeared shortly after I left the facility again. . Second attempt 5 software issues were updated. The symbols cleared but shortly after leaving the facility they were back on and still display each time I drive the vehicle. The service advisor stated that the service provided would not have any connection to the symbols showing on my display - would not cause the symbols to display. I have no way of knowing if that is correct. The symbols were not on the display when I took the vehicle in but they are there now and will not clear. This presumably indicates that I will need to replace the hybrid battery in order for the vehicle to pass California Smog when it is due in September. More
