Smooth and without glitches I've owned 4 Honda's: 3 Civiic EX's & my new Fit EX. I both the last 3 vehicles from the Carmichael & Maita Honda agencies; the last two from Maita. T I've owned 4 Honda's: 3 Civiic EX's & my new Fit EX. I both the last 3 vehicles from the Carmichael & Maita Honda agencies; the last two from Maita. The 2013 developed 'limp mode' problems. After the new chip was installed, the gas mileage dropped significantly. I'm a retired AF medical superintendent, so I have a record of every gallon of petrol I've put in in each of my 4 Honda's; and the driving conditions and mpg for each tankful. The purchase of my Fit EX was handled well by your sales personnel. I bought the Fit just as I had bought my Civic EX's: I came just to look, but discovered you had exactly what I wanted in stock. So we processed the paperwork; and the next day, I wrote a check, and drove away. I delayed this review until I gave the Fit a good shakedown cruise, so to speak. Now that I'm a geezer, judging distances isn't as easy as it once was. With the Civic's it was difficult to see the 5 o'clock position because of the large roof stanchion. That's one of the major reasons I went with a smaller vehicle. However, the right-side camera on my Fit EX was a pleasant surprise and has resolved that problem entirely. Secondly, the shorter hood also makes judging forward distances much easier. The drop in horse-power is not a problem. The 94 horse engine is very peppy and entering the freeway is as easy as it was with my Civic's. I hope that maintenance visits will continue to be as laudatory as in past experiences.
