I very recently purchased a certified used vehicle from this dealership, which supposedly underwent a 160-point inspection before it was sold to me. This was obviously not the case, as it was sold with a b this dealership, which supposedly underwent a 160-point inspection before it was sold to me. This was obviously not the case, as it was sold with a bad battery that died after 2 days of light, normal usage. They were good about replacing that under warranty, and they also fixed the alignment, which was pretty off. I had to take it back in today to have them take a look at the sound system, which has been fuzzy and distorted, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't user error before I called them about it. After a few hours, I received a call saying they updated the infotainment system which was two versions old (yet another item that should have been checked before it was sold) and that they couldn't hear any distortion. After spending $40 on Uber rides to get myself around, and spending gas money and time to try to bring this car up to their own standards for certified vehicles, on my drive home the distortion was still very present. I did my own diagnoses in five minutes at home, and figured out which speaker the noise is coming from, and I'm taking it back in tomorrow (to the chagrin of the service employee who helped me). I can't believe they're annoyed at me for wanting the car to be up to the standard that they advertise for their certified vehicles. No offers for gas or oil change vouchers, no apologies for the vehicle not being in the condition it was advertised, just lots of wasted time and money on my end. I love Mazda, but if Maita doesn't get it together, I won't be using the dealership for anything other than warranty service, and will not be purchasing another vehicle from them when it comes time to upgrade.
