Title: Very Disappointing & Unprofessional Sales Experience – Mall of Georgia We purchased a 2024 Ford Transit 250 cargo van from Mall of Georgia during a snow day visit. From the beginning, the Experience – Mall of Georgia We purchased a 2024 Ford Transit 250 cargo van from Mall of Georgia during a snow day visit. From the beginning, the experience was extremely unprofessional and misleading. • The salesperson took my driver’s license and never returned it. It was misplaced by the dealership and still not returned. • We repeatedly asked for the Carfax before signing. We were told it would be provided “after the process.” Only after all paperwork was signed were we shown a Carfax indicating a minor accident, leaving us with no choice at that point. • The listed sale price did NOT disclose the doc fee, which under Georgia law should be revealed upfront. When questioned, the salesperson was rude and said, “You can leave, we don’t want to sell.” • During negotiation, Manager Steve claimed nothing could be done, then later discounted $800 — contradicting his own statements. • Due to snow, we were told to pick up the vehicle on 2/5/26. At pickup, we discovered dashboard fiberglass damage, which was never disclosed, documented, or shown in photos during the sale. • Manager Steve claimed the damage existed before and said it was “our job to notice,” despite no written disclosure. • As compensation, he initially promised a $500 check, then changed his statement and said it would only be a future service credit if repaired at their location within a month — a complete reversal. • Throughout the interaction, Manager Steve was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful, including sitting with crossed legs and speaking in a condescending manner. This was a shady, misleading transaction with hidden information, broken promises, and unacceptable customer treatment. The showroom looks nice, but behavior and honesty matter. I am posting this so corporate management is aware and other customers can be cautious. More
