Promises Broken We purchased a 2019 Ford Mustang Ecoboost. The vehicle had a small scratch on the hood. Leo, our Sales Representative said they would take care of t We purchased a 2019 Ford Mustang Ecoboost. The vehicle had a small scratch on the hood. Leo, our Sales Representative said they would take care of the scratch and he would call us as soon as he got the appointment scheduled the next day. NO call the next day and we then called the next 4 days and left messages with Leo to call us back. Never got a call back. Went to the Mall of Georgia Ford and found Leo. He then said they couldn't fix the scratch. The "new" Customer Service Manager Dennis made many excuses for Leo's commitment to us. Dennis then delivered a long speech that said there was miscommunication, think we heard it wrong, presumptions were made by us and we had nothing in writing. So, long story short, Leo's word means nothing and they will not back up what they say. Get it in writing. I personally will go the the many other FORD dealerships in the Atlanta area. All of my vehicles are Fords. Explorer, Escape, Fusion and the new Mustang. This is the FIRST time I have ever been promised something by any of the Ford dealers I have ever done business with and then been told I didn't understand what the salesman was stating. Never, will I ever recommend this Ford Dealer to any of my family, friends or colleagues. It is bad enough to make a promise and not honor it, but then to say I misunderstood what Leo had said to me, my family and a friend who was with us.....totally ridiculous. WORTH MENTIONING: I would highly recommend avoiding Mr. Mattthew Gettys, the General Sales Manager. He is pompous, rude and arrogant. We tried several times to speak with the General Manager, Jeffery, but every time we called, we were forwarded to Mr. Gettys. One of the times we were transferred to him, we immediately said we were supposed to be transferred to the General Manager. His response was, "Can I ask you one question". To which we responded, "no". He then said only one question, and we again responded, "no". Mr. Gettys then asked, "What are you teaching your son by doing this". Not sure how our family has anything to do with his poor customer service or dishonesty, and totally not sure why he brought our son into this situation, but you should stay away from this individual. He is extremely condescending and will only make you more frustrated and leave you feeling hopeless with ever getting a professional response from the Mall of Georgia Ford. Seriously, do not waste any of your time with this manager. He will only make the situation worse. More
