We had our vehicle in early this month (approx July 7)for AC recharge. The service advisor told me that we needed to purchase a new condenser for $3000 as the current one was leaking. I took the car home and refilled the Freon myself. No drop in pressure since then. I am In the automotive business and so have some familiarity with mechanicals but do not have the facilities in our home, nor the time to deal with these things myself This is not the first issue I’ve had with your dealership. Earlier this year took the car in for a simple service and it returned to us with a major transmission oil leak. There was a gasket that needed replacing. We took the car back and told us that there was an item that needed to be completely replaced, not replacing the gasket, which cost us $2500. I asked to keep the original unit and they told me this is not possible as these units get sent back to the factory for reconditioning. So I paid $2500 for a reconditioned unit, not a new one. I had no choice but to get this done at your dealership because we were traveling the next day. I know a replacement gasket cost would’ve been minimal. I take our family vehicle to your business for specific service items and I would not trust your service advisors on advice for troubleshooting problems. I wonder how you would treat my wife if she had gone there by herself. More
First time we used service side of MoGA Ford and it was great! Fast and effective completion of recall. They provide a shuttle if you need one and they have a nice waiting area too. I’ve been a loyal customer for almost 10 years, but this last service was the worst. I’m not going to get all negative but some commons sense could’ve made the experience way better. First it took forever for someone to contact me and let me know that the tire was causing the major issue. Then instead of asking if I wanted the spare put on before you were finished instead of the bad tire that was now rotated and in another spot would’ve been nice. After I come to pick it up then you asked if I wanted the diagnostic on the engine light that would take another two days, and the truck drove even worse after I got it. Lack of communication, lack of concern on how the truck felt like it was going to fall apart, and lack of appreciation for loyal customer is why I won’t be back. Thank you More
