The worst dealership I have ever worked with. I purchased a E150 Econoline from this dealership and was lied to from the start. Vehicle was unsafe to drive due to rear brake system not properly in purchased a E150 Econoline from this dealership and was lied to from the start. Vehicle was unsafe to drive due to rear brake system not properly installed and bearings in the rear end were seazed. Dealership packed them full of bearing grease so that you would not hear the metal against metal grinding. Everything came apart after 100 miles of driving and the vehicle had a passed safety inspection sticker. I had a mechanic fix all of the issues and went to the dealership to try and talk man to man to resolve the issues and try to recoupe some of the repair bill. The assistance I received was less than helpful and I was told that the dealership knowingly sold a unsafe vehicle and that the van did not pass a state inspection. This dealership did not disclose any issues with me and are more interested in making a buck rather than taking care of their customers. Again, buyer beware at this dealership because they are selling lemons as if they are oranges. More
Price seemed to be good, but car ended up having massive problems, and we ended up with a LEMON. Bought a used oldsmobile. Within an hour of driving off the lot, problems started. $1250 in repairs later be problems, and we ended up with a LEMON. Bought a used oldsmobile. Within an hour of driving off the lot, problems started. $1250 in repairs later because of car accelerating unexpectely, steering R&P needed replaced, all brakes needed replaced, window regulator replaced; transmission jerking and expected to be an additional $450 to $1500 or MORE. I am 55 years old and have a reputable and experienced mechanic. When confronted with all these problems, manager basically said, too bad! Car was on the road for 1 week (to find out what was happening when), but has been in the shop for 3 weeks and counting. We're looking at minimum $1800 and potential of $3k being spent on repairs for this car, which at first sight was fairly well cared for and in great shape, but is turning out to be a nightmare. For used cars, BUYER BEWARE!! I can't speak for their practices with new cars. Thanks for allowing us to tell our story. More
Best car buying experience ever! I recently have been looking for a Mustang and spent several weeks researching my dream car. After talking to several dealerships in the area I was astonished at the ext looking for a Mustang and spent several weeks researching my dream car. After talking to several dealerships in the area I was astonished at the extreme professionalism I found at Jerrys Ford! I came in for my appointment a few minutes early and was promptly greeted by Bill Harned the General Manager. I was impressed that even though it is a large dealership the General Manager himself took the time to greet me and even sat with me in his office just talking while the salesman pulled the vehicle up for me, I almost forgot I was buying a car :) angel was very knowledgable about the vehicle and it was exactly what I wanted. When it came time to finalize my paper work I was introduced to a very professional young woman named Sarah. She helped me go through all my options and very patiently helped me figure out what the best one was for me. I would DEFINATLY recommend the dealership!!!! More
We went in to look for a Fusion. The salesman took us for a test drive, and as soon as we got back, we asked questions about the car, he couldn't answer it. We asked about prices, and he told us to look for a test drive, and as soon as we got back, we asked questions about the car, he couldn't answer it. We asked about prices, and he told us to look on the internet. The prices of the fusion is listed on there. Didn't even bother to sit us down. We were serious buyers, they were not serious salesman or inexperienced. More
Bought my 2005 Ford Escape XLT in July 2005. Love the car but every person I dealt with was rude, misleading, and talked down to us. If I didn't get such a good deal, I would have walked away. They convince but every person I dealt with was rude, misleading, and talked down to us. If I didn't get such a good deal, I would have walked away. They convinced me to purchase the tire deal- get all routine service done there and replacement tires would be free. After going out of my way for routine maintenance and on time, when it was time for tires they made up some lame excuse as to how I voided the warranty and was no longer eligible. I followed every rule in the paperwork. I called general manager as well as ford headquarters and filed a complaint. I never heard a word from anyone. The service department is the only redeeming quality. The mechanic I dealt with and the service manager were as disgusted as I was by the warranty denial. More

Took my truck in for routine service and was blown away by the service I got. It was easy to get appointment, VERY friendly when I arrived, Aly explained what they were going to do and called later to exp by the service I got. It was easy to get appointment, VERY friendly when I arrived, Aly explained what they were going to do and called later to explain, in easy terms, what else was needed and why. I needed a ride back to the store and she sent a very nice gentleman named Teko who was prompt and courtious. Aly was still there when I arrived, explained the invoice to me in detail, then took me to the cashier where Rebecca handled the rest. She too was VERY friendly and professional. More
This place has atrocious service. We dropped off a car on a Saturday for a couple of repairs that should be covered by Ford warranty. The guy we left it with, Bill, promised to call on Monday to let us know a Saturday for a couple of repairs that should be covered by Ford warranty. The guy we left it with, Bill, promised to call on Monday to let us know what was wrong with the car. We had to call him ourselves. He said he didn't know what was wrong but he said that he will call on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went with no phone call. We called him again on Wednesday. This time he told us that he cannot reproduce the noise we complained about, so we set up an appointment for Saturday. Since we don't have another car in order to get to the dealership we had to rent a car for a weekend but we were ok with this since we wanted this issue fixed. When we got there, Bill was not there and apparently none of the technicians on his team were there either. Another team leader was there but was too busy to have us show him the noise (which would have taken all of 2 minutes). He claimed that all teams operate independently and can't (or don't care enough to) help with the other team's cars. When the other team leader called him, Bill said that he never made that appointment. I don't know if every team leader is as irresponsible as Bill, but you'll never find out until you waste a lot of time and money. We took the car that day and will never come back to this dealership. We came in to find a used four wheel drive car for my daughter who is going to school in Michigan. We asked both the GSM Bill Harned, and our salesman, Angel Gammons if the ford escape we were looking at daughter who is going to school in Michigan. We asked both the GSM Bill Harned, and our salesman, Angel Gammons if the ford escape we were looking at was 4wd. They both said yes, A week later it snowed and we couldn't get up the driveway..the Ford Escape without 4wd is the WORST vehicle I have ever driven in snow! We brought it back and they told us that the 4wd wasn't working and to drop it by the service dept the following Thurs. Bill Harned made a great show of looking at the vin number on the car, walking back into the dealership for a few moments, and then coming out again to reassure both me and my husband that the car was four wheel drive and his service dept would "take care of us". When I dropped the car off at t eh service dept. , the nice mechanics ( and they ARE very nice, quite unlikethe sales dept. who drops you as soon as they have your signature) told me that the car was a two wheel drive vehicle. AT this point Mr. Harned produced a much more expensive car. I asked to see the dealer cost. He never showed me. I was willing to pay only the increased cost of a four wheel drive vehicle, but not over dealer cost since both Bill and Angel had made the "mistake". AT this time I was still polite and using the word mistake, and willing to deal with them just to get on with it. ( it was two days before Christmas) Mr. Harned informed me that he simply could not give this to me at cost, and that he was offereing a very good deal. I pointed out to him that I was financially maxed out and simply didn't hgave the wiggle room he seemed to think I did, and he said "yes, I heard you the first 47 time you said that." HOnestly, there are so many good people in retail who are unemployed. You would think Jerry's Ford would try to hire someone with a personality, at least. Well, after that, they accused us of not "working with them" and giving them enough time to find us a suitable four wheel drive car. No one returned our calls. My husband finally got a hold of Jerry Cohen, who told him that he was being threatening, and hung up on him. My husband is nearly deaf and very loud on the phone. Mr. Cohen apparently took this as a personal affront, in addition to ripping us off about the car. He pointed out, though, before he hung up, that the paperwork clearly stated that the car was front wheel drive, and that this was our problem not theirs. IN addition to all of this, I had to go back three times for the plates. Angel made a big show of going over to the phone and supposedly talking to the DMV. Within seconds ( have you ever gotten through to the DMV this fast? Not I! amazing!!!!) he told us that the DMV hadgotten confused on my order buyt that it was straightened out. Then I asked Bill Harned a week later and he gave me the exact same answer. He said "This is the DMV's problem, not ours." A few days later, I asked MIchael Stoner, the assistant General Manager. Mr. Stoner actually was efficient and quite nice. He discovered that Jerry's had never sent the emission form, and that is why the DMV had not sent the plates. The car was immediately sent to service and within fifteen minutes, new plates were attached to our car. Mr.Stoner and the mechanics in service are the only bright spots at Jerry's Ford. STAY AWAY and if you too have been ripped off by them, let everyone know!!!!!!! More
Pulled a bait and switch. Low price over Internet by Angel and then car not there. First they said it was there, then said it was on the back lot. Gave me window sticker to verify VIN # I had been dis Angel and then car not there. First they said it was there, then said it was on the back lot. Gave me window sticker to verify VIN # I had been discussing. Then they said it was at another dealership. Then they said it was sold the day before even though I had put down deposit. I had checked just that morning, and even got a phone call confirming 2 hours before my visit it was there. After they finally confirmed there was no car they told me I "needed to work with them" and they offered me a vehicle substantially more than the deal I made. Checked VIN number I was given when I got home and found out they never had the car. It was at another dealership not related to them! After complaining for 2 days got a call from Don, the sales manager, who advised "we have the right to refuse sale to anyone over any reason," and "I don't have that car in my inventory." No kidding -- you never did, even though you offered it to me for a low ball price to get me in the door. I was told Internet pricing is just an "offer" and that does not mean that is what they will sell it to you for. I have bought 2 other vehicles over Internet with no problems. Will not go here again.
