Excellent experience from start to finish! We had first gone to a different Ford dealership to lease a Ford Escape and we were not happy with the sales person we dealt with and decided to try M We had first gone to a different Ford dealership to lease a Ford Escape and we were not happy with the sales person we dealt with and decided to try Malouf Ford. So happy we did! We arrived an hour prior to closing to test drive the Escape and Chris, our sales consultant could not have been more knowledgeable and pleasant. He answered all our questions and we never felt rushed. When we picked up the car, Chris took his time to explain all the features. Surprisingly Stress-Free Great Experience I am not rating the vehicles (although I have fallen in love with my 2017 Ford Escape); you can buy the same vehicle at countless dealerships . I wan I am not rating the vehicles (although I have fallen in love with my 2017 Ford Escape); you can buy the same vehicle at countless dealerships . I want to write why I recommend Malouf Ford Lincoln in North Brunswick on Route 1. Aesthetics of Dealership: Large, clean, clean, clean with numerous cars on the showroom floor and countless in the lot. Bathrooms were clean, coffee, water, etc. available for both employees and clients. Parking was available- did not have any problems. Upon entering, I was greeted professionally. The atmosphere of the entire dealership was professional. My appointment time was respected- no waiting about. My salesperson, James, "Jim" Lennon was, in my opinion, a terrific, non-pressuring salesman. I had been at two other dealership and while I did not have a bad experience at either, I NEVER felt like I was pressured into something I did not want nor did I at any time feel like I was given a rush job. I was very clear with Jim about my needs and what my budget would allow. He gave me the TOTAL price of what I would be paying each month. Jim ALWAYS respected that. I was very clear that I was in the market for a Ford Escape and at no time did I feel any pressure about considering a larger vehicle or one that did not fit my needs at the time. Jim took the time to explain the vehicle features while in the showroom and during the road test. I felt he truly listened to what he had to say and I respected his opinion on certain subjects. While he did explain the upgraded features on a higher Escape model, he NEVER was pushy. At the end of our appointment, I explained I wanted to have a discussion with my husband about what we went over. The manager, Don (he is another BIG plus for this dealership) came over. While I understand that a manager coming over at the end of the appointment to try and close the deal is probably standard practice, Don, like Jim, never made me feel that if I did not give an answer right then, all bets were off. In fact, Don tried to be very accommodating and understood that I needed to speak with my husband. I was not harassed into giving a down payment to hold any price they offered, nothing. You gotta love that. In closing, I returned the following week with my husband. The discussion I had with both Jim and Don were not "forgotton" when my husband was there with me. My husband also felt very comfortable and and felt any questions were answered. BTW, I leased the Ford Escape from Jim at the Malouf dealership. I think that says it all. Three cheers for Jim, Don and Malouf! More
