Dear Michael, We allow you to take any vehicle of interest to a shop of your choice for pre purchase inspection, it states this on the very first page of our website! You purchased a wholesale vehicle at just over $3000 dollars that has a retail value of close to $5000 dollars! We offered you to use a local shop we use to have any repairs needed at our discount for parts and labor! This quote saved you well over $1000 dollars from the shop you initially brought it to! The car was mechanically sound and needed roughly about $800 dollars of work which would still put you way under book value for that vehicle. I am sorry you feel the way you do but we do everything we can to protect you and your investment for at least the first 3 to 6 months of ownership by giving you a full warranty on all major drivetrain and powertrain components. And at no charge to you! On either consignments, or trade-ins we don't always go through vehicles and we just price them at wholesale pricing to pass the savings on. If we were only concerned about the money A we would not give you the complimentary warranties, and B we would make them all retail ready including the prices we sell them for! Again i apologize if saving you over $1000 dollars was not satisfactory to you. I wish you all the best and thank you for your purchase!

Of course you produce a pile of verbiage. The car has a rusted floorboard and mount, brake lines, and fuel line. Its serpentine belt is also damaged. I have been to 2 reputable mechanics, unlike the guy at D &L auto, who wouldn't even put in writing what he told me about the rusted through frame - he "didn’t want to get between us." The first mechanic i talked to gave me a detailed quote for $3500 which he said might be higher based on what else he might find. The other mechanic strongly advised me not to fix it - told me to get rid of it. So - if it was such a good deal, I will sell it back to you. I paid $3600. It's yours for 3k. You want to put your money where your mouth is?

O - I paid for that warranty! You "gave" me nothing. And that's what the warranty covered - nothing! You told me it was a Florida car, called it "bulletproof". Trusting you was the biggest mistake of my adult life. You screwed me, plain and simple, and have done nothing except throw around a bunch of lies since. I shouldn't have been allowed to drive that car off the lot! The brakes failed almost immediately. If i had hit somebody, you would have been liable.

MIchael, First off you legally registered the vehicle before you picked it up! You had ten days to inspect it. The brake lines were fine and the vehicle had a current NH inspection on it! In fact the car drove great and no issues with the brakes at all on the test drive! You registered the vehicle, picked it up after putting your plates on it, and yes at some point after leaving the brake line failed you. We offered you our discount on all, the frame had a small hole that was easily fixed, the shop opted to replace the main brake lines for you at our discount, the opted to fix the frame at our discounted price on parts and labor saving you more than half of your initial quote! The car had some flaws we found out after the sale I am not disagreeing with you but this is why that was sold as/is with the unsafe form signed by you at the time of pick up on Brian's desk! Its all there in black and white nothing at all was ever hidden from you, the signature is 100% yours. The vehicle is not safe to drive until you legally register it, at which time you have 10 days to state inspect it! The warranty is a powertrain warranty, it covers your MAJOR components like the motor and transmission, your front and rear differentials, your FWD system! If you are not happy with D & L Auto we can certainly have you bring it to Reliable Auto on Second St as well and again use our discounted rate on parts and labor, for any work you want done now or in the future!

I called you 10 minutes after i left your business. The brakes failed as soon as I used them. I would like to know how that sticker got on the car. If it was such a good deal, buy it back from me and put $600 in your pocket.
