Sqealing noise to new brakes. I was relieved to know the noise coming from my Honda was just brakes. I know this is a late review for Jose Rocha since i forgpt to run a review the very first time i came to the service department for my Honda, but Jose indeed helped me when the parts department made an order mistake of an item for my car. Jose went above and beyond to solve the issue and got my car problem fixed the very next day. More power!!!! More
I felt I was not treated honestly. I was told that replacing the condenser fan motor would probably fix the AC. After that was done and a new belt put on for close to $1,000 I was told I was told that replacing the condenser fan motor would probably fix the AC. After that was done and a new belt put on for close to $1,000 I was told that the compressor had seized and would have to be replaced for another $2,400. If the compressor had seized I would think that trying to turn the clutch by hand would have revealed that immediately during diagnosis. In any case $2,400 is an exorbitant price to install a part that costs $400. Also there was no telling what other parts would have to be replaced before it was all over. The service writer mentioned that a worst case scenario could add up to $8,000. I feel that Manly Honda strung me along to get as much money as possible by replacing one thing at a time instead of telling me the whole story from the beginning. So far it has cost me close to $1,000 for a belt and a small electric motor, which in itself is an outrageous amount. After 14 years of bringing my car in to Manly, where I originally bought it brand new, I will never again do business with Manly Honda again. More
