- 228 miles for a Pilot!
Loved Vince Rossi our online sales manager initial contact. He had everything in order for our late afternoon arrival on a Sunday from out of town. Upon our arrival we had been referred to Gio Ceremony also an online sales manager as Vince was off work that day. We compared the Honda Pilot EX-L & Touring models. We test drove the Touring & decided we would go with the Touring over the EX-L. The Touring they wanted to sell us was dirty & the chrome looked like it had small rust spots on it. We were promised we could refuse the vehicle if it wasn’t detailed to our liking. By this time it was close to their 6:00 pm close of business & we expressed our frustration knowing there was an exact Touring model with the same color scheme on their lot with the interior still wrapped from the factory. After speaking to a manager - Tim Dang he assured us that the Touring would be detailed to our liking. After 5-10 minutes Tim came back to us & offered us the Touring that still had the interior factory wrapped. They took it to their detail department (who stayed after hours) & did a quick detail on it while we went to financing. As we had already negotiated a price online & have excellent credit scores the process was simple. Mike Warren was our finance manager. We did purchase an extended warranty as the car is so technological, but we again negotiated a lower price. By this time it was well after their 6:00 pm close. We accepted delivery of the Pilot knowing we would bring it back down at our convenience for a full exterior detail since it was late & dark outside at this point. I contacted Gio two days after our purchase & scheduled a full detail for two weeks later while my husband was working in the area. My husband drove it down & was very impressed with the detail manager - Paul?. There were a few scratches in the chrome door trim that couldn’t be polished out, but Manly wrote a part & service order to have our local Honda dealer service department replace the chrome. Gio also arranged a loaner car for my husband while the Pilot was being detailed. Overall we had a great experience at Manly & would recommend them to others. We love our Pilot!
