I have been working with Ted for many years now and he is always kind, helpful and knowledgeable about my car services. Ted is always willing to answer my questions or concerns that I have about my car. He also makes sure that I am aware of any future services that are coming up for my car. Overall, Ted is definitely one of the best service Consultants at Manly Honda. More

I came in for a rubbing sound that was coming from the drivers side tire. He new exactly what the problem was and even informed me that it is a common problem that is being reported. He suggested that even though he knew what it was that I should still have a tech drive it and hear it to be absolutely sure. They had me in and out in less than an hour. More

Whoops! It was only a burnt fuse. IMA and battery light go on and 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid loses power. Still driveable, but it's like driving through deep mud. Reluctantly take it into IMA and battery light go on and 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid loses power. Still driveable, but it's like driving through deep mud. Reluctantly take it into the dealership, as this issue arose in the past. Every time we go to the dealership, it feels like we're getting ripped off. EVERY TIME. So, get a call from the service guy who says it is the charging system. Honda requires two parts to be replaced in order. The cheap one, which is rarely the problem, then the $3,000 one, which it usually is, and they need our authorization to proceed. Wife goes ballistic on them. Gets service manager involved. Next day, get call from service manager saying they got Honda to cover everything. Won't cost a thing for the charging system repair. Feeling good about this finally. Next day, pick up the car and review the invoice. Turns out it was just a burnt out fuse they replaced, not the $3,000 part. REALLY? Thank you, Honda, for buying that fuse for us. Now, looking at the list below, turns out the "service manager" is only another team member and NOT a manager. WOW! Ripped off and lied to. How do you stay in business? More
One time kinda bummer update* I’ve been going here ever since I was able to drive, be that a parents car or my own. Usually I get great service even if it does cost more to go to the dealership for maintenance. This time I got a different rep, he was very nice and pleasant. My only gripe was my truck needed some pretty heavy duty maintenance this time around and he put on a group plan. When talking with a family mechanic he noticed how many inflated services I was being charged for( all the fancy fluid and flushes etc) when all my truck needed was certain individual replacements. I called to inquire about all these charges, and he just kept telling me it was on the menu and that’s how it is. Even previous work that I had done was on the menu, and I pointed it out. I get that they have to make a sales goal and sell things, but this was the first time I felt like I wasn’t being looked out for. I was being sold things that weren’t Explained in good detail. And it was odd that the service my truck needed was some package deal with all this extra stuff. Overall there wasn’t much detail being told about the services in general. When it was all said and done, he did give me 10% off parts and labor. ( trust me I appreciated that) but it was Probably because I kept asking about the extra services being applied. I just hope next time the work being done on my truck will be explained in detail on why it is needed and if it is needed. I will still go to Manly Honda I will just be a little more picky about my service representative. After spending 2400 bucks my truck still thinks it has 50% oil life, probably a computer thing, but for that money I hold the right to be picky about having to make another trip back. still a wonderful place to buy a car and good staff. Just a one time bummer. I’ll also pay better attention next time before I sign. Lesson learned. I was contacted by Luke the service manager and was extended a very thoughtful reposition. This review was never intended to get anyone in trouble. I was in sales and service for years and merely expect explanations as to why things are happening and being given the option to choose whether or not I pay for those services. I appreciate Luke reaching out to me and like I said in my original review, this wouldn’t stop me from my business at Manly. More
