DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP – They left me stranded with my baby in 102° heat and refused to make it right. I clearly told the dealership — in writing — not to fix the power brake system, because that wasn’t the problem. They reassured me that their recommended repair would solve the issue and charged me $867. It didn’t work. The next time I drove for more than two hours — with my infant in the backseat — the exact same failure happened again. The car shut down, completely dead, and I was left stranded on the side of the road with my baby in 102-degree heat. I immediately reached out to the dealership. They ignored me for five days. When they finally responded, they apologized for the delay and said they’d “get on it right away.” But when I asked for a refund — because they fixed something I explicitly said not to fix and it didn’t solve the issue — they refused. They even tried to charge me another $500 to replace the battery, admitting they still weren’t sure what was wrong. When I said I didn’t want the repair, they told me to “come get your car” and that they couldn’t guarantee it would start. And in a show of pettiness, they added that we’d have to figure out a way to charge the car’s battery ourselves to drive it off the lot—even though we brought it in fully charged and drivable. When I tried to explain all of this again, Mark Conrad, manager told me not to “waste my breath.” This isn’t just bad customer service — it’s dangerous, negligent, and deeply unprofessional. I was very pleased with Manly Hyundai service. When I arrived I was seen immediately. They provided a shuttle to take me home while the work was being done.
