Mr. Gentry, I am sorry to see such a bad review. I thought that we were doing the right thing for you by replacing your entire engine at the cost that we originally quoted for just the heads. We did make a mistake, but we owned it, and we agreed on a plan to make it right with you. Not to mention, providing you with a loaner vehicle the entire time we took care of it. I continue to be a customer. Thanks to Linda Avery. I believe her. You can find fault with me all you want. But leaking a little water didn't warrant all of the uncertainty, and damage caused by your dealership dismiss me or make excuse all you want. I am the one who paid the price. I have said all along, If Maple Hill didn't mill those heads, Then the damage should have been the responsibility of those who did. I truly resent your comments on my lack of appreciation. I paid higher insurance to cover your loaner as the cost, as I was told, would naturally be Higher for 2019 than a 2010 And How dare you to criticize me for not thanking you for ruining my car! Also I had found an engine with only 40,000 miles but the gentleman would not purchase mine instead used the one he said had 78000 Miles on it. He said it couldn't be returned. My engine would cost 3600.00 Again, responsibility lays with those who milled those heads. The warranty is much appreciated and you should call whoever milled those heads and thank them for the cost you incurred. It's not fair to Jim and certainly hasn't been fair to me. I was a business owner in Truck Transportation for 40 Years. I know what it takes to run and maintain a business. I would respond as a business owner. Your Dealership has serviced my 2002 A6, My 2004 A8 with excellence. But this one was carelessly and wrecklessly done.
