Hello Mr. Hassinger, Our customer's safety is paramount to our service team and we take our customers concerns seriously. We looked into the customer’s records and found that the customer had brought the Fusion in for service in August, 2019, seven months ago. At that time our technician performed an oil change and looked at the brakes. The technician replaced the front brakes but did not recommend replacing the rear brakes at that time and informed the customer. It is possible that the customer may have driven additional miles during the past seven months and since the brakes were seen at Maplecrest, which may have led to additional wear on the rear brakes seen by the current technician.
